Yay! My favorite show is back! I missed it almost as much as I missed having time to post on dramabeans! Can’t believe I haven’t posted on my fanwall since November. I’ve pretty much been lurking since Go Back Couple ended, even with some good shows like INAR, Just Between Lovers, and Prison Playbook. I promised I would let myself post more for the last 10 eps of Woohoo Waikiki though!
This show has grown on me so much. Oddly enough, the constant humiliation and hardship the gang brings upon themselves each week has become a great source of comfort for me during a stressful time. Every character/actor just has such wonderful chemistry with each other and I can’t get enough of their hilarious antics! I love all the potential pairings. And I especially love the ridiculously over-the-top comedy, which somehow still manages to be really fresh and clever (most of the time). I watch the episodes multiple times each week so this is a rare case when I’m grateful for the extension. There is just something comforting about this group of misfits and their ridiculous struggles. They’ve definitely been making life a little bit easier to get through!
There’s been nothing like the gross nose-picking scenes, which were the hardest for me to watch.
The show begins to mix the humor with more heartwarming moments and has better character development starting with eps 5 and 6. That said, there’s still plenty of second-hand embarrassment to be had.

Was there anymore gross-out humor after ep 4? Because I will probably pick this show up again…

Thanks!!! I’m so excited to join in more again! Watching dramas just isn’t the same without my fellow beanies 😄
