iirc Him and his staff did this photo shoot in their hometown (yes “their” — his staff also are his close friends from his university days), in Chongqing, where it’s famous for their bamboo forests. The movie House of Flying Daggers was filmed there🎋

In his recent interview with Jang Do Yeon he said that he simply doesn’t know how to take a break or go on holiday after working nonstop for 17 years!

Although I have seen that recently he takes a short time (very short. Like just a stroll) to explore the city he is in after an event. Trauma from Hawaii maybe??

Well deserved stroll I would say. Definitely uri artists need their downtime. After all they are in a creative field and cannot be expected to operate on auto-pilot. Only rest and leisure time can recharge one’s creative cells.

Some of these interviews are so eye-opening that it starts to get uncomfortable.

In a vlog filming his dance rehearsal with Yoona, Junho just rattled off his schedule for the next 2 or 3 days. It. Was. Insane! And he was filming King the Land too. He had nearly had no sleep for a week.

Also recently Jun K. was talking about the hardships of being trainees, newcomer idols, super hot idols, and that the hardest part of it all was lack of sleep.
He told of a time when their schedule was so insane that they didn’t go back to their dorm for Twelve. Days!! Just dozing in their van from schedule to schedule! For twelve days!! He said we even recorded a song during that time that none of us remember recording because the brains were shut off, just going on autopilot!!! That is insane!!!

That is scary. Lack of sleep can be a very dangerous thing indeed, especially when they are doing such physically demanding work.

Not remembering recording a song. 😱 What condition these poor guys must be in.

JCW said in an interview that there was that one trip when it was supposed to take him and his manager a couple of hours to get to their destination, but because they were so sleepy they had to take a nap at every rest stop for safety reason and it ended up taking them a total of 9 hours to get there. So not only the artists but their manager also have sleep deprivation 😥
