Now I'm glad for the condensed storyline. I was not looking forward to see San-ha and Hae-joon struggling to fit in with their bio families. Okay we know what happened to San-ha but what exactly did Hae-joon do in the US with his bio dad!?

It was not me crying buckets when San-ha promised with cakes as his witness that when he returns home next time, he will be back for good. Yay!!

I loved Joo-won's shop and her fearless tackling of the weirdo intruder. The Police station scene was perhaps the most I have laughed in the whole show. The manner in which like a well-timed sitcom they all made their entrance one by one was just too funny. 😂

I'm sure Hwang In-youp would have been mighty pleased that this time round he wasn't the one doing Okey Dokey at the front door of their apartment. 🙈🤭

Okay so is Joo-won seeing floating golden hearts 💛 around San-ha and hearing violins yet 🎻 or is she in a see no evil, hear no evil mode!? I for one cannot wait to find out. 😊🙃❤

C'mon guys - it is high time we get the two couples on board.

SO my cold turned into a sinus infection and I had to be put on antibiotics that made me horribly nauseated. The good news is the sinus infection is much better and I can sing again! The other good news it that I only have two days left of antibiotics.

Anyway, some random thoughts this week...
- Someone on Twitter was talking about the Korean men's rights movement and how bad the misogyny is there currently. The discussion included a comment that the nice men we see in kdramas are women writers engaging in wish fulfillment.

- On a lighter note, they announced the 2024 MelOn Music Awards Best OST nominees:
"Sudden Shower" by ECLIPSE (Lovely Runner)
"Dream" by TAEYEON (Welcome to Samdal-ri)
"Love you With All My Heart" by CRUSH (Queen of Tears)
"Spring Snow" by 10CM (Lovely Runner)

I think these are good choices overall, but they missed ones that I would have personally included.

in Estonia we call people who lay out all their personal life without restraints "slaughter chicks" (tapatibud). You know... some chicks grow up to lay eggs... and some are thrown into the grinder and become feed for others.

went to London, met other Tim Burton fans, visited Tim Burton exhibition at the design museum, it was a fabulous and heartwarming meetup. We just click so well, it is crazy how we havens seen so long but we instantly vibe with each other. it has been 23 years since we first talked on Tim Burton Collective forum. it no longer exists but waybackmachine has screenshots.

gawd im so annoyed. I have generally been very annoyed the past week. I don´t know if it is lack of vitamin D or my age.

a patron asked me to remove a dead cat in a plastic bag from her phone. but it was just her lock screen picture of a cute red cat curled up sleeping on a pillow

Hae-joon still has a long way to go to believe what Joo-won and San-ha already know, even if Joo-won wants it legalized and San-ha says they are not. They are family - just like San-ha to categorically state that to his mom. Sadly it had no effect.

All these absentee parents swooping in to claim a piece of their children is just aggravating. Whether Hae-joon's healthy father who doesn't need an organ but a heir or San-ha's mother who first brainwashed her new daughter to manipulate San-ha and then played the pity card after her accident.

This was a hard set of episodes to watch with so much heartbreak all around.

Joo-won visiting Seoul all alone was perhaps a moment when she perhaps unconsciously felt a change in her relationship with San-ha.

Hoping both the boys don't have it so bad and the real family though apart can still love and support them in what are bound to be very trying times with their bio families. I am looking forward to when the boys can finally pay their dues and come back.
