toya , avonmarissa...sistas were you been at?? :P... evrybody looks at me like: why can't you just watch american tv like everybody else? the truth is, some of the things out there aren't that interesting...or just look like watched out series, that got recycled..or just trying to hard... for example "sex, money thingy..", very annoying... though some characters are quite entertaining... and k-drama, culture, just allows me to get out of the box and look whats going on on the other side of the world... plus i use it more as a way to learn a new language... the entertainment factor helps alot... thanks to all the subbing teams, i've learned a lot....guys you rock my world... he he... javabeans my hero, remembering all the those nights reading coffee prince summaries... keeps me coming back everytime...
I haven't caught Iconoclasts, but I'll have to look it up. You know, I thought I was gonna LOVE the N.Korea episode of It's Always Sunny... but I thought it was blah. It's a pet peeve of mine when Americans treat all Asians interchangeably, and all the Koreans -- especially the loud shouty ones, cuz Koreans don't yell like that -- seemed a lot more Chinese in their accents and interactions, which soured the episode for me. If the show made fun of that assumption it could've been funny, but they didn't.
Man, the idea that it's gonna be either Hillary or Rudy depresses me. Too bad Colbert couldn't win for reals.
I have an irrational dislike for Heroes. And Lost. And Grey's.

Believe it or not, i havent' watch American series for almost a year or so but recently I'm pretty hook with a new reality show called "A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila". It's on MTV..It's so DUMB that I've become addicted to it....Watch it for laughs I guess.

I LOVED IT!!! I always check back on this site whenever I'm bored or have time and boy am I glad I saw this. Soulmate was so good. Like the addicting, must see next episode kind of good. I've had like 2 hours of sleep in 24 hours but you know what...it's soooo worth it. hahaha. The music, omgosh, the music. It was like, my heart skipped a beat whenever that C'mon Through song came on.
I'm cursing the drama gods for not sending a season 2. I know it's really "creative" to leave that kind of ending but it's frustrating me. I want to see them back together and have nice fluffy thoughts about soulmates. :)

First, I'm glad I found you, Javabeans!
I am from half earth apart from you, and somehow this love of korean entertainment made us "met". Sometimes I just can believe how people in this world can communicate easily like this, and how people like 10 years ago can survive without technology like mobile phone and internet..
We in Indonesia don't have interesting TV shows ( oh well, that's only my opinion..:) ),so I more rely on internet ( which is also still slow and expensive ) and foreign entertainment.
About 5 years ago, I was more into Mandarin dramas, until I found that Korean dramas were also ( and sometimes more ) interesting.
Now, I live day by day with severe addition of K-dramas. but I have no plan to cure it! hehe.
For US. shows, lately I'm watching: House, Ugly Betty and next I'm planning to see Gossip Girls. I love Gilmore Girls, and hope that I will be able to see the 8th season..
( I'm still sad they'll end soon, but well maybe that's the best way before it gets boring )
I saw Betty La Fea too, fortunately I like this American version too.
I quite surprised that no one (yet) mentioned about Heroes ! Is it a huge hype there in the US?
Because here, most of my friends and colleagues are addicted to the show! I only watched the 2 first episodes of season 1, and it still cannot get me hooked. but i promised to self that I will watch it one day..when I run out k-dramas to watch! :)) ( and I believe it will be happen in very loongg time! )
