Aish. @_@. My comment got cut in half due to how long it was.

I did not know the song [which is also a favorite of mine from the OST] was by Bin. I have to agree that her role is very likable in this drama and I'm glad for it. Like you, Bin and Chae Yeon rubbed me the wrong way for no real reason but I never did agree with the amount of antis she [and Chae Yeon] got. I hope this drama will give her the better reputation that she deserves ^_^.

Hi! I've been coming here since.. a week ago? I got your link from Soompi and I'm so glad that I found it. I throughly enjoy your reviews/summaries on dramas! Being a non-Korean, waiting for the subs is tedious and reading your summaries is a good way to quench my thirst for kdramas until the subs come out. I'm officially addicted to your blog. ^_^. I come here almost everyday [especially on days when a new eps of Witch Amusement or Que Sera Sera comes out] and tend to refresh until I get a new blog from you and get to read it. Not sure when you post but your usual time of posting summaries is around midnight for me so I stay up waiting for your summaries and you never disappoint. Do I sound like a fangirl? Haha. I am one, I guess. >..

Very interesting comments. I don't speak Korean but I have fansubbed. I am forced to translate from the English (into Spanish). This presents the issue of having to rely on someone who translated from the Korean and whatever went into their decision to translate or not translate certain phrases etc.
As far as my subbing goes I tend to stay away from slang as much as possible. Spanish being spoken and developing on different continents means that slang can be very different as well.
Your mention of Goong S struck me because I have been attempting to sub ep. 1. One thing I am coming up against is Hoo's using ajussi for someone who is essentially a surrogate father for him. Right now it's a toss up between using tio (uncle) to denote the familial sentiment and using Don ß no English for this but basically it's a term of respect for an older person. The problem with Don is it can be for any older person and doesn't necessarily convey Hoo's feelings. I'm still undecided on that one. Goong S is pretty challenging because of the royal terms and the slang present.

The OST is pretty good, so far I like her but at the same time how can she be so complacent. She seems like the type to not get angry. Kind of annoying but we'll just have to see as the show progresses. Also JB (is that okay??) do you think you can direct me to where I can learn to post songs the way you do so that they can listen to it and download it if they want. Sorry to keep asking but you seem pretty good at this stuff!! Thanks for the help in advance!!! Looking forward to some QSS this weekend...things look interesting from the preview. Hopefully someone on Soompi will translate what they said in the previews!!

Hi,
Im an Indian... its great to know that TV is watched with so much enthusiasm as it is done in India... we have lotsa soaps here... I'd like to know more about what kind of soaps do you have in Korea...
Btw, in India we kdramas too... but here that means... the shows starting with the letter "K".... which here are more famous than other shows which are named with other letters :P
Kind of strange... I know... but K does play a huge part in every TV loving Indian here :)
