This section of Dramabeans has become a weekly torture chamber of bad options. But, I refuse to stay negative. Instead, I will praise one of my favorite dramas that clearly had a sequel in mind, but never got the chance... Move to Heaven. So, you are telling me that you introduce a love interest for our autistic male lead in the last episode and possible changes in housing and employment, but you are not going to show his new life with his uncle/new father figure? Give me a sequel! Nevertheless, it didn't take away from it being one of the most compelling and uniquely Korean stories that I have watched.

So, writers can we finally have an update on Extraordinary Attorney Woo? Hmm.

I thought the same about Ja-yeon in these episodes. She's the glue and does it so well. I already have Lee sang-yi on my list but Han ji-hyun has certainly walked right into my heart with this drama.

And then she thinks he stole them because he wanted them for himself 😂

No Gain No Love: Episodes 7-8

Hae -young and Ji-uk (and the second lead couple for that matter!) definitely didn't get the kdrama contract couple memo, @unit 😂😂 And I also love it here. This is #couplesgoals for me. A couple who communicates directly, honestly and with care. They don't leave things hanging. They're not afraid of each other or their relationship. It's so beautiful to see. One of the reasons I adore Kdramas is how they portray intimacy. We don't even need to see naked people panting around. But I feel this writer/ show is taking it another level. The way they have been using Ji-uk's ringed finger to make my heart flutter is ridiculous and genius. Everytime I see his hands, I swoon. Everytime Hae-young has that mesmerized glint in her eyes when she looks at him, I get butterflies. The scenes are not overly done or stretched too long but I find myself wanting them to go on forever. I'm not a rom com girlie but THIS show feels like and tastes like a romcom. The writer, actors, directors, editors, sound people, EVERYONE deserves all the awards and flowers. Two more weeks! I hope we can stick the landing. Hwaiting 💛💛

Thank you for the wonderful recap @quirkycase! Yes, the show as resolved most of the issues and I hope it will address WJ's feelings for EK as well.
Uri ladies supporting each other, being compassionate and taking time to reexamine life decisions was the shows highlight. Its a delight when shows like this pop up where the ladies are not bitter and ready to kill each other.
Can we have a season 2 writernim?

Having a new favorite drama is something that doesn't happens often, so for me this option isn't bad. Yes, ending in a cliffhanger is painful, but I can always rewatch the first season without any issues and create a sequel in my head.
I'm kinda used to this tbh since Netflix always cancels their few decent shows after one or two seasons.

But a romcom turning into a melodrama out of nowhere is too aggressive for me. For LND I actually didn't care much because I had already zero positive feelings about it, but I remember really enjoying Rooftop Prince for its comedy and then it became a sad party and I had no idea what to do with that, so I had to dropped it.

And yes, with The secret Garden it was like, "How are we supposed to like this horrible person?"
In several Unequal Social Class dramas some chae-boy or -girl has found a reason the poor person owed them money, mostly to annoy the other person, and it has just been completely unreasonable, tearing the last thread holding together the economics of a person who could barely pay the rent by working those 7-10 jobs a SK hero is likely to have.
Coffee Prince was the first time I saw that. Even though it was funny that she worked for him, the fact that she was under enormous pressure and he just thought it was fun to be petty was hard to take.
Any Boy over any Flower is like that, too.
