BTW, if you liked Better Days, I just watched a great C movie called Viva la Vida. Thankfully no bullying and violence, and ultimately very heart warming.

I agree, this is one of the rare gems that will age like fine wine 🍷 as the years pass 😍😍🥰🥰 And a part of the reason of it being so is for how simple and relatable and down-to-earth everything about this drama is.

One I'm looking forward and hope for the best. It has Yoon-ah whom I quite like, hopefully good food to wish for a taste and an actual story that will take us somewhere fun.

Your description of THE IMPERIAL CORONER is absolutely spot on (and the same could be said of the classic THE UNTAMED): It is a low budget masterpiece. There is a second season coming which we will hopefully see within the year, and my wife is looking forward to it.

This one could be fun or cheesy. Lets hope it is funny and fun and not over the top. Heck, I might still watch it just to try to smell the chicken frying through my screen! heh.

Oh I got a kick out of this posting. Every time XZ is onscreen with BBH, he's at another level -- she shines him up to another level. This is a memorable pairing. BBH has my respect, she's the total package. I can believe that it took three years to get the dialog right, it is so well crafted. A really well done drama, it has legs and will look (and sound) just as good in ten years as it does now. I'm sure every one of these performers is proud of participating in SUNSHINE.

BoA and our ML in OUR GOLDEN DAYS are not getting married for romantic reasons but they would start out as friends at least. That is why it really is a shame that the show will likely not go through with it because this would actually have been a lovely story.

Thank you for your input. Looks like I will skip this one then, despite loving Honey Lee.

I just looked at my post again and realized that composition in the wee hours of the morning is not a good idea- my grammar was out of whack, etc.

Zindigo, my wife is really liking FEUD for exactly the reason you have noted: The story itself (with some good acting) which overcame the production flaws. You spotted what I meant about the CGI.

Just what I was thinking about his name! It will be fun to see if it does match his personality!

I am so excited to have Junho on my screen again! This looks very interesting to see how that big cast all fits into the picture or main storyline. I can wait for October cause that is not far in the future. Go Tae-poong go!

I do not think that our ML was never actually anti-marriage per se- he just saw no good reason to participate and had made a different choice about his life. Suddenly a person he trusted gave him a good reason and he made a logical choice to change course. This was distinctly NOT some sort of romantic epiphany which is why I wished that the writer would actually go through with it and show us a marriage which is begun for purely pragmatic reasons and only very gradually becomes a love match.

Because you are right about the other story lines the departure that I have outlined would indeed be a breath of fresh air. Go Wonhee is more than capable of carrying the female side of this load so it is a pity that it will not happen.

My wife and I were going to watch AEMA last night but had too many things going on. It sounds like it is worth it.

I am glad that I dropped THE WINNING TRY after the fourth episode. What a shame because it could have been good.

Seriously, is this to be another love triangle story??

I loved Better Days! It was really hard to watch at times but so gripping and, despite everything, it managed to pull off a happy ending.

Uri sweet, sweet Sheng Yang 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰

I love Xiao Zhan’s portrayal of Sheng Yang:
26-year-old young adult who's juuuuuuuuust getting his footing as an adult, but is still heavily doted on and immensely loved by his parents but who treat him with respect and appropriately for his age. Speaking of age, the thing I love about Xiao Zhan’s portrayal in this drama is how he still portrays the “dear in the headlights” parts of being a young adult still figuring out life, relationships, and the workforce, but in both cases of Xiao Zhan’s portrayal and his parents, none of them come off as infantilizing Sheng Yang, and I deeply appreciate and respect that.

Maybe that ^ was the struggle and why it took 3 years of back-and-forth between Xiao Zhan, the director, and the scriptwriter to fine tune the script in the pre-production process before cameras began rolling.

P.S. Xiao Zhan’s ears turning beet red from extreme shyness in his first kiss scene with Bai Bai He will forever be adorable 🥰
