Chae Sang-woo started out as a child actor in 2008 with appearances in SBS’s My Sweet Seoul and KBS2’s Windy City. In 2010, he joined Song Yoon-ah and Kim Hyang-gi in the drama film Wedding Dress. He next played the young counterparts of male characters in numerous TV series such as 49 Days and Tree With Deep Roots, which both aired on SBS in 2011. In 2013, he was cast in director Han Jae-rim’s award-winning movie The Face Reader. That same year, he became part of the SBS drama Suspicious Housekeeper. In 2018, he starred in the drama film Wretches.
