Cloggie watches a kdrama: oh look, their fingertips touch. They must be the OTP…
Cloggie watches a jdrama: oh look, they have sex. I wonder if they’re the OTP…
I Guess because movie industry do not have the same restriction as dramas on public broadcasting they can do almost whatever they want.
Funn fact was reading interview with Kim ha neul talking about movie Misbehavior. she talked about how in the script s… scenes where very graphic, but she manage to talk to director about toning them down because she thought those scenes would ruin the message in the movie. first time hearing actress being so frank about this even to director about what she was feeling.
That’s good to hear. I think the acceptance and growth of intimacy coordinators (Source: New York Times) puts such scenes on par of doing stunts. Actors need to be safe, physically and emotionally.

Or, with the jdrama, you fervently hope there is no birth secret that reveals they are siblings.

Or, there is about an 85% chance that they are student and teacher. I wish I was joking.

In the one I’m watching at the moment, luckily neither one scenario seems the case.

😂😂😂 The blurred ethics of Teacher/student relationships in doramas are the equivalent of Kdramas’ psychiatrists/patients.

Korean movies more than make up for their chaste dramas! Zoinks! I had to reprogram myself after watching High Society.

Oh yeah, well, Korean movies are a completely different kettle of fish. I mean, they smoke and have non-pixelated knives!
And I saw The Handmaiden in the cinema. All anatomical details on an extra large screen.
