I will put myself into a torture chamber & finally watch a drama I don’t like, with an actor or actress I don’t like or simply that it doesn’t make sense, but a majority had loved before. Suggestions?

      Lucky for you, nobody likes the Melty Brain show so it doesn’t meet the criteria.

      For me this show is Just Between Lovers. Everyone loves it and raves about it and I dropped it. Couldn’t see what people loved about it at all.

      My big contenders though would be DoTs or Goblin.

        But yeah, Goblin (which @ally-le) would recommend, or DoTs (which is now on Netflix in my side of the world) would do.

        I even thought about watching something with Ha Jiwon (Just not Secret garden, because I already read the recaps) or wait for the next Seo hyun jin drama, but I will see what else other beanies could have in mind 😅

          Ha Ji Won was in a show last year about a hospital ship that was pretty awful. In fact I can’t even remember the name – so I probably didn’t finish it the show was that pathetic……

            Everyone hated that show and it was called Hospital Ship! Lol! Ha Ji Won did get an award for her role though.

            I actually watched two or three episodes of hospital ship and yes, it was also boring and I dropped it. Right now it can’t be, because I already watched part of it😐

            Hospital Ship – for some reason I watched several episodes thinking that somehow, someway this show would get better. sigh… such wasted hours.
            I loved her in Secret Garden (but not nearly as much as Hyun Bin of course) so I keep giving her second chances….

      For me it was King2Hearts. Everyone loved it but I couldn’t even start watching it because I can’t stand Ha Ji Won’s voice. I have this unexplainable hatred for her voice.

        That one is on my wish list, although it could be it too, because I also don’t like Ha Ji won… there you go.
        Even, I think it was also put on Netflix… 🤔
        I will have to think about it.
        The male lead… I think I don’t like him either 😂😂😂

          I also don’t like Gong Hyo Jin which a blasphemy because everyone must like her! I don’t know… I’ve watched several of her dramas and I just don’t see the hype and don’t like acting.

            I think GHJ is… fine. Honestly, she kinda bores me. She’s very same-y in all of the roles I’ve seen her in. The one I liked her in most was It’s Okay, That’s Love.

            I dint like her either. Saw her first in Biscuit Teacher, second in Master’s Sun, and now in Camillia and I really don’t get her hype either. She plays the same roles I feel.

            Me neither! I have watched recently a couple of scenes in camilie, because it is on Netflix… But no, I can’t like her. And neeh, camilia cannot be either, because I already watched parts of it, lol

            @mindy @ally-le Spot on! She’s always the same in all her roles. It seems to me all her roles are interchangeable because her acting is exactly the same.

      I think if a drama is really bad, the last criteria for me for tolerating it would be if I really, really, really like the actor or actress in it. But even then, if I don’t enjoy it anymore, I would still drop it. 😞

      LOL… very simple:
      1. In order to test my endurance.
      2. In order to enjoy more the shows that are good. I have in my wish list “Live”, for instance. And I know it is very good…. So, I want to be able to appreciate it 😄

        Your willingness to test that endurance is admirable. I tend to keep things more simple. I just watch what brings the most viewing pleasure. 😆😅

          Since I am not watching almost any airing show and since I don’t have concentration for my wish list, I want to test myself this way Lol
