[Off topic, but could you tell me if Bunicula was written by the same author as Dogzilla? Another excellent one in (perhaps) the same vein is Dog Breath.]

Different authors. Dav Pilkey wrote Dogzilla and Dog Breath. My favorite series by Dave Pilkey is really for kids just learning to read – Dragon series book like Dragon’s Fat Cat. Sweeter and more simple than his other books. If you (or children you know) liked Dogzilla, you might also like Kat Kong and Hallo Weiner also by him.
