I am wondering how the brother’s death would change the dynamics between the spiritual leader and SM’s family. Or if there would be any changes at all. I believe the spiritual father would try to milk the tragedy to his benefit, although I am not sure what his endgame is.
Because of the family’s grief and the support they get from the church they’re going to join the cult. That’s the first thing I thought seeing them going to the funerals.
I am not sure either what his goal is. Is it money? Is he hiding something? Is it to cover what he is really planning?
This show is really scary. As I watch it I feel like looking away. It reminds me of those religious cult cases.

Did he perhaps intentionally influenced Sang Jin when he saw him praying in the church ? SJ thought of his words before the fatal act.
