Can anyone list all the kdrama with the same set up as Love Next Door? On top of my head, I can only remember Romance is a Bonus Book, but that one is Noona romance with cohabitant hijinks. But it almost has the same premises, falling in love with the girl you’ve known all your life.
Welcome to Samdalri has a very similar setup, but executed it much much better in my opinion. I’m watching it right now and am LOVING it. For “Falling in love with the girl you’ve known all your life,” Fight for My Way did this well; Into the Ring acknowledges this trope but doesn’t make a big deal out of it (but gives lovely rom-com while it’s at it); and Soundtrack #1 (very slow paced – I found the pace soothing and sweet).
oh, wait. Beanies respond are correct, Fight My Way and Reply series. i forgot about them even though i watched all of them before. gah. Fight My Way definitely was way superior, love next door theme.
The one I have just finished: 9 end 2 outs (k-drama from 2007). Friendship since childhood + cohabitation in their thirties.
Some more:
_ C-drama Go Ahead. And its new Korean remake Family by choice.
_ K-drama Eun Joo’s Room.
_ K-drama Pinocchio.
_ K-drama My first first love (two seasons).
Another show that comes to mind is The Time I’ve Loved You (also known as: The Time We Were Not In Love). The two main characters were also life-long friends.
