    saw that 2 days ago. Mindbaffling. But I would say this attitude is on the rise actoss the world. I think the reason is men read 40-50% less books than women. people are only interested in their own selves and they no longer try to see anything from other groups or individuals perspective. Reading has been proved to be the most worldview shifting activity. Illiteracy leads to narrow-mindedness.

      Yes, it is on the rise globally and has continued to exist. The extent of such ignorance about basic facts such is horrifying and of course not unique to SK but it just has a particular venom because of the documented extreme income inequality between men and women among OECD countries (SK is the worst), continuing violence against women including the widely perpetrated acts of molka and the prevalence of male executives in the corporate world.

      They should compare the suicide rates with countries that have much more equality between sexes and genders. And then they could talk.
