        and i wonder why they took a potshot at that.. was that drama on TVN?

        this script has made fun of a lot of TVN dramas..

        and i can imaging LDW as the grim reaper trying to take SJ’s soul again and again .. ha ha,, bored t o max with this repetitive work entrusted upon him

          I kind of remember this incident, but I never associated the joke with it.

          I too wonder why would they make this joke when nothing about what happened back then strikes me as funny. I remember Kim Jung Hyun being really sick.

          I don’t think it’s a TVN thing because I’ve seen the same joke and many shows.

            i am not sure about KJH being sick..

            there were already reports that ML and FL were not getting along, crew had issues and then the stress narrative was released and the actor bowed out… all good till then, he even gained public sympathy… but then few years later it all came tumbling down.. and i don’t think people buy the stress story anymore and called him out on the unprofessionalism.. both him and Seo jin

            @alasecond can’t believe I’m still reading stuff like this all these years later…
            They literally had him bring out his medical records, the last time…but no, he just made it all up because he suddenly woke up one day and wanted to be a jerk on set. 🙃
            And btw, people gave him a hard time already when the drama was airing..for some reason those who knew how serious the situation was on set, decided to wait until after his hiatus, once he was all good again, to bring up the past..why not do it immediately? Instead of letting him receive all that “sympathy” 🤔

          @cubely Lelly19.. medical certificate in Korea.. they produce fake certificate right left center… even for the most dangerous ofthe jobs.. to fake way out of military enlistment…

          We will never know how true or untrue those certificates are… but we do know that tension was brewing and we do know there was definitely atleast the other reason to quit

      I think she’s referring to the real life dating between Seo Ye-ji and Kim Jung-hyun when she forbade him to kiss another actress in a show while he was dating her. He ended up taking a mental health leave of absence after that show (and breaking up with Seo Ye-ji).

      nah..its real life drama wiht a drama that had the SL from crash landing and FL is the youngest of the Girls Generation group.. that drama was so weird and ML got replaced midway

        ML didn’t get replaced..he dropped out a few episodes before the end (and was not replaced by anyone) because of health reasons.

      Kim Min-gi. His cameo appearance is because the screenwriter for Lovely Runner wrote True Beauty where he played Moon Ga-young’s little brother. Besides True Beauty, he was also in Racket Boys and Under the Queen’s Umbrella.
