Next on my “Maybe I should finish watching this Show but I’ve kind lost interest” list:
• Twenty One Twenty Five: I’m at episode 11, and I’ve read soooooo many complaints about the ending – including a “How I would re-write the end” posts on Dramabeans – that I’m very hesitant about starting ep 12. I mean, I liked the Show a lot up to this point. Is it worth watching the rest and potentially being as upset as the brave & disappointed Beanies before me?
• Business Proposal: I read a spoiler about Grandpa’s behaviour and that turned me off immediately – which is sad because I binge-watched the 1st 8 episodes like I had been starving for just this kind of lighthearted silly romcom content… Should I watch the rest?
I actually liked both 2521 and BP til the ending. Could they have been written better? Probably yes, but it’s not the worst thing ever. 2521 esp had a hard time i think becos 1, it broke the std rom-com happy ending and 2, set the bar pretty high for itself when three quarters of the show had excellent writing.
Conclusion: both are still worth a watch in my book.

Personally, I’m among the (many?) Beanies who approved of the end of 25-21, so I say do it. For me, it is a real world ending.
You’ll probably be fine now that you’re prepared for the really poor writing that Grandpa suffers under and you’re not expecting consistency 😠

I, too, liked the ending for Twenty Five Twenty One!
Business Proposal lost a bit of its spark towards the end but it was still a really nice show.

For 25-21, the present parts already gave you the end.
Business Proposal’s last episodes were full of clichés and not the best.

I loved the ending of 2521 while I almost hated the last 2 or 3 eps of ABP. ABP deserved so much better last few eps.

I feel it is safe to watch 25-21 up until the last two episodes. From then on, the script triggers the “Great Beanie Divide” you have read about.

I really liked the ending of 2521. Business Proposal just kind of fizzled out for me.
