This is a drama based on a book and has three experienced screenwriters who have all directed too, all of this to say you get well written and expertly acted scenes, beautifully presented. This will be a great binge watch if you like melodramas.

It is hard to find two pretty looking cast who are compatible in talent and chemistry, despite coming from different countries. It is even harder to come across a drama that is realistically grounded, yet so emotionally touching script and message in 8 dramas. Not much kisses in this drama, but the actors managed to sell the drama through every glances, every tone, every touches. It is one of the few romantic dramas in 2024 that I can watch till the end.

This is a show is a rare show that beautifully weaves the delicate emotions of love in all its forms. Shown only through the eyes of the incredibly talented Lee Se Young and Kentaro Sakaguchi, it will leave you with a lingering feeling afterwards. The musical score, breathtaking cinematography, and narration will keep you engaged. I would even say it should not be classified as a K-drama but a cinematic experience we rarely see in films or shows today. Even if you have a preference for certain genres, everyone should watch this show just for the performances.

The chemistry is sizzling and the acting and cinematography is top notch but the leads are very mismatched in their commitment to each other with the FL taking most of the burden on her shoulders. The ending was extremely underwhelming and unsatisfying to me personally. I would just watch for the beautiful leads only.

The thrill of how love starts.
The agony of abondenment when one thinks love is exhausted.
The gulit of how one feels after all the regrets.
The burried longing you have for one another when love never left after all.

What Comes After Love:
Love (still) Comes After...
