The drama has ended but we don't know the identity of the sixth person in the poster. Is that supposed to be Nu-ri or a time travelling Gwi-ju?😂😂😂😂
Here are my thoughts on the drama that I would like to share with you.

I agree about the unearned redemption arcs the characters got without proper development.

I previously said many characters get good development arcs i realise I was kind of wrong.

There is no problem in flawed people getting redemption arcs but the drama needed to build up on that theme since the failed wedding.

I definitely recommend this drama. Just be aware that it has complex characters--there are no true villains, and the leads are very flawed. I loved the romance and it gave me Time Traveler's Wife vibes. There is an actress wearing a fat suit, so just be aware of that going in.

Well made series with different themes involving the characters which it does sometimes fumble like in the case of showcasing a character with obesity. Otherwise a good watch. Here's my full review:

It definitely was not the drama we thought we would get from the synopsis but actually better. 😊👍
The unexpected dark undertones in the initial episodes were more engaging than we thought possible.
The drama's expertise lay in the "endings" of the episodes but perhaps ironically not so much in the finale ending. As beautifully expressed by uri Unit as long as the characters are satisfied with the ending it's all that matters. 🤣🤣🤣
It is an atypical drama best enjoyed setting aside the usual K-drama expectations. None of the characters (except I-na) seem likeable but most do grow on you and also have an individual character arc. Yay how's that for being atypical.
I enjoyed this drama and the recap journey led by Unit who (despite protestations) had more insights to offer than those of us joyfully watching the drama. 😂 Although tbh there was nothing joyful about the drama but the little moments of humor and happiness were even more heartfelt because of the general sense of doom and gloom.
While a dark-ish drama this is a healing drama if I ever saw one. The way our super-powered family suffered from lifestyle diseases and their struggle to understand their powers overcome their diseases was an interesting concept.
I choose to be amongst the happy fans of this drama.

The drama feels more like an off-beat, adult fairytale. Right from the start, it has a darker, cinematic quality and the Bok family is extremely fractured. The characters are not relatable or even that likable except for the ML's daughter. The FL is usually the entry point into a kdrama, but she was enigmatic here. The drama does a good job at showing the characters to be more than their unlikable qualities and actions. Their flaws never get fixed or overwritten over the course of the series, but by the end, they do take those first steps to be better.
In the beginning, you may be put off by having one of the characters being portrayed with a fatsuit. But I think the drama was able to handle and portray that character quite sensitively so that you really see HER and not the physical weight she carries. The drama made her one of the top characters to root for. And the one with the best hair.
There is a romance and I do like the pairing of Jang Ki-yong, who looks more lively in the outdated hairstyle, and Chun Woo-hee. They are a warm and cute pair. But that is more secondary to the overall themes of family and letting go of fears and giving each other a bit of grace.

I loved this show. I loved that the characters were flawed and magical.
I was not satisfied with the redemption "arcs" for the terrible mothers pushed in within the last minute, and I found the way Gwi-ju's problem was solved lackluster compared to how easily it could have been a fun triumphant final (if Dong-hee had come with him, and the saving of Da-hae had been a joint venture, so to speak. I know she couldn't time travel, but surprising things happened, so why shouldn't Gwi-ju be able to take someone with him?)
I loved the best metaphor for lesbian love story I have seen ... ever, I think - invigorating and with obvious chemistry: Dong-hee and Grace flying recklessly through the air, laughing and crying for happiness.
The Beard Uncle was a disappointment, but then we all know that Dong-hee needed to marry for her to get the building she had been promised all along. The director had not attempted to make it look like Dong-hee and Beard Uncle was actually a good fit.
I could have wished a happier ending for him, too. Not necessarily romantic, but just him being useful in a kind way, as was his true nature.
That the whole sauna family saved Dong-hee from being scammed by her mother's traditional cis-het ideas of the meaning of Dong-hee's life, that was just beautiful.
I liked Yi-na's reconciliation with her friend a lot, but I cannot express how unfair it was that she had to be without her father during her teenage years, now that they had finally been brought close to each other. And Gwi-ju missed her flowering years and the baby and toddler years of his second child.
But I need to say, I was only this disappointed because I had come to expect more. So I hold on to the fact that it was a great drama.

The best k-drama in the first half of 2024, imo.
It's different, it's atypical, it's uncomfortable sometimes, but it's a very good show. Cinematography, script, music, editing, characters...
It started good but it got better from the fourth episode and it had a good ending (not the ending everybody wanted, because there were so many possibilities... but the last episode had every viewer in the edge of their seat until the very end).

When watching a fantasy drama you understand unusual things outside the laws of physics will be happening. I'm down with that. And even slight changes like being able to interact with things and your girlfriend in the past is manageable. But they kept changing the rules of his power.
However, I don't understand how there are now 2 rings. And that ending, wow what a disappointment.
I found Gwi-ju had no appeal at all and there was no spark between him and Da-hae. Dong-hee was really good as was Da-hae's 'family'. All of the characters, except one, were good.
In-a's school story line was very good. I especially liked Hye-rim. Was she passive/aggressive, mean/nice or just a typical school girl? The writing and acting seemed like real-world.
There were good scenes in all the episodes. However, the main male lead.... meh. And the happy ending was poorly executed. I'm glad it was 12 episodes.
