Reasons to watch: High on edgy ~intrigue~ and Squid Game-iness, Netflix’s latest show features a lot of eights. Eight actors playing eight contestants in an eight-story building trying to outlast the clock to earn money. It’s sure to be dark and full of some twists ahead, but the concept seems rooted in the “I did it for the money” ~~motivation~~ desperation, and that’s never my favorite story arc. Still, we have a great cast of Ryu Joon-yeol, Chun Woo-hee, Park Jung-min, Lee Yool-eum, Park Hae-joon, Lee Joo-young, Moon Jung-hee, and Bae Sung-woo – and the story is based off the popular webtoons Money Game and Pi Game.

TL;DR: There are a lot of eights and a lot of questions

Ah. I would love to watch Ryu Joon-yeol as it’s been so long. Chun Woo-hee too. But I think I will pass this one.

Haha why do only like 3 people look remotely comfortable in the press picture?

I totally don't know if this is the case but this sole picture made me think of when someone on here said that you kinda get a feel about whether the cast got along, were friendly, or strictly business from the press conference.

This picture don't make me wanna watch the show any more or less; it just made me curious about the cast dynamics.
