My favorite weasel Dong Jae has his own FoS spinoff! Writer Lee Soo Yeon will still be attached as creator so hopefully this will be good.

And I am *patiently* waiting for Sweet Home 2 to drop.

@Elinor: This might be an annoying question but what is the weasel show?

They are both referring to the main character in Good or bad Dongjae

I just saw Netflix drop the teaser for Park Seo-Joon and Han So-Hee's upcoming action-packed supernatural show GEONGSEONG CREATURE and it looks really good. Part 1 of the series (?) is coming on 22 December 2023 which is right on time for the Christmas crowd and part 2 on 5 January 2024.

So I know what I'll be watching this holiday season alongside Netflix's live-action adaptation of the classic manga YU YU HAKOSHO which looks SOOOOO GOOD and is dropping on 14 December. Ditto for SWEET HOME 2.

And hopefully WELCOME TO SAMDALRI will be showing on Netflix as well so that I can just watch everything I want to watch there instead of hopping between Netflix, Disney+, and Viu. I haven't seen any Netflix teasers for that though I heard through the grapevine that Netflix will be showing it?

Best working title goes to: Let’s get grabbed by the collar! Whatever is chosen for the release title will sound really boring in comparison.

That is what I was thinking 😂 And it will probably end up being something like My Lovely Detective or Evil or Not 😁

Based on your comment I had to go back and and take a closer look at those SAMDALRI images.
That guy sitting next to Shin Hye-sun (in what looks like a ferry) can’t be JCW. Is it really him? I am not a fashion expert but what were they thinking when someone clothed JCW in those. First thing I would do is take some scissors and cut those jeans off above the knee and make them into shorts. He lives on an island and might get away with that. Terrible look.

I don't think it's JCW but one of the trio friends.

Hopefully we will get a better look on the "fashion terrorist" when further stills are released. 🤣

There do seem to be some hijinks in Welcome to Samdal-ri.
I like the "standee" situation.

"Forest of Secrets" is hard to imagine without Hwang Si-mok, who embodies the essence of the show. Cho Seung-woo was the reason I watched it in the first place.
Good luck with the spinoff. I'm glad the original writer will continue writing scripts.

1 - what a cast! Too bad this doesn't sound tempting otherwise...
2 - uhm, sure, why not. Didn't like Season2 that much, but maybe this character being the lead will bring my excitement back, who knows?
3 - looks very anime-ish, I approve this poster. Skip.
4 - January 1?! Who the hell decided this was a good idea?
5 - hmmm, cast and genre are promising. Too bad it's YET ANOTHER web-something adaptation, can't we have an original script in this day and age?
6 - SHS always looks cute playing drunk lol. And wow, Mina grew up sooo prettily, I love this hair on her! Feels kinda surreal given the hardcore lookist bashing she went through during her debut days... *sigh* I feel old suddenly.

I wonder how much the webtoon creators are compensated ?
Are traditional screen writers more expensive, the same, less or more ?

My viewing card right now is quite light with finishing SUNSHINE last night. My only other live watch is THE KILLING VOTE which will hopefully conclude this Thursday with episode 12.
For months I have been in anticipation of the proper historical sageuk KBS’s KOREA-KHITAN WAR (Viki US) which I will begin today.

Which brings me to Netflix’s SWEET HOME (2020) and Song Kang. Horror is not particularly a favorite genre of mine.
I have a soft spot for Song Kang after his wonderful performance in tvN’s NAVILLERA (2021) (Netflix). I didn’t think NEVERTHELESS (2021) was a good fit for him so I passed on it. I had mixed reactions to his performance in JTBC’s FORECASTING LOVE AND WEATHER (2022) (Netflix). His upcoming drama from SBS MY DEMON will be a pass.
However for some reason I feel I should go back and watch his performance in SWEET HOME. It is only10 episodes. With SWEET HOME 2 becoming available soon I might as well take the plunge.

I'm glad to have Goryeo Khitan War to watch during the holidays. I don't like the new title, by the way. If foreigners don't know what Goryeo means, they can look it up.

I agree. The first time I noticed the title change was in Kocowa (which to remind folks is a joint venture of KBS, MBC and SBS).

I think Sweet Home is also the only Song Kang drama I seen him in. I skipped all the rest but maybe I will give Navillera a try once I have spare time to watch it.
