I guess Happiness Battle is going to do something different on its run.

It very satisfying to see two Kim Dong-wook's side by side and not suffering each other. Delightfully Deceitful was actually better last week, so I can see reasons for the increase.

I'm happy for Lee Do-hyun on his first hit drama The Good Bad Mother. The Glory was a hit, but everybody hated his character. Hotel del Luna was a hit, but he wasn't the lead. 18 Again deserved to be a hit.

I'm happy for Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 for ending a whole 2% higher than its first season, which I never watched. But I watched Season 2 on a whim, and I'm so glad I did because it became one of my favorite dramas of the year. I'll miss all the characters and their world in 1938 so much.

I thought "Mother" would do well domestically, and I'm glad to see I was right about that. To me, it was a drama that delivered on a lot of fronts. It had flaws, but kept up the dramatic tension until the end, and featured a central romance and characters who I found (for the most part) compelling and worth watching for seven weeks.

One thing I was wrong about initially: that "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" didn't deserve a sequel. I've come to very much regret those words, because this second part has been so much fun, full of comedic, action, bromantic goodness in every scene. The writers were smart to foreground the prickly but loving relationship between the brothers this time around, and mostly ignore conventional romantic pairings. It all worked for me, and I'll happily embrace a third season should it ever arrive.

Finally, I like "Delightfully Deceitful" a lot, especially the three main performances and the way the story never really lags. So I'm glad to see it hold steady around 4%. It's too weird, darkly shot (I mean this literally--it's hard to see everything in many of the shots), and focused on a sociopath to be a huge hit, but I'd like to see it get up to 6%.

I actually dropped Tale of the Nine-Tailed (season 1), but loved the fun of TONT 1938. All in for Season 3.

OH! YOUNG-SHIM simply disappoints.

THE REAL HAS COME has only very slightly gained audience share. I am not complaining but part of the reason may be that there are so many plotlines that most of them get relatively little screen time, including the uncle's story and the story of Macknae and the Young Father (and Soogyeum).

I think there is missing this extra spark in Real. I like the drama and the dialogues are often good... and it goes against expectations... but it could be a biiit more addictive (or fluttering) 🙂 (in a good way I mean, not some crazy makjang 😅).

I've started watching this weekender but almost every side character is boring so I'm not sure if it's a keeper. I like contract marriage stupid tropes kkkk. But I detest crazy elders and there are too many in this drama

They will calm down. 😁
And Grandma will lose her Queen upper hand in a very unexpected way 🙂

Really? I'm still on ep 3 so I was not expecting that, usually dramas pretend these elders are untouchables even when they are abusive. I hope that Rich Brother and Sister improve too.

Yes, grandma’s downfall is a good plot twist and pivot.

It borders on the face-palm stupidity to me sometimes but I am sticking with it somehow. At least the bad girl gets found out most of the time with her scheming before the end of this series cause otherwise I might have to do some face slapping through the screen at her (secretary) and her infantile mother.

TOTNT ended well! Looks like overall this season did well. Hope that is good incentive to get Season 3.

I thought Dr Romantic 3 ratings would be even higher. Not only has one doctor arrived, another doctor has exited the competition.

Next week, a reincarnater(?) and hotel chaebol enter the competition, so Dr. Romantic 3 will be lucky to even get 18% for its finale.

A romcom and a time travel romance drama? I don't think they will be to topple Dr Romantic 3. Plus, that drama is about to end soon, so the ratings might turn out to be different.

Even with no competition, Dr. Romantic 3 couldn't topple Dr. Romantic 1 & 2. I don't think that anybody expected it wouldn't even reach Taxi Driver 2's ratings.

I think both of those are set in hotels? If so, we really need some workplace diversity in dramaland.

Is "Lies Hidden in my Garden" going to be recapped here? I saw the ad in prime video and I'm very curious 👀

If Oh Young-shim goes from 0.2 percent to 0, will that make it disappear like it never was?

Well I stuck with it and watched the last episode just now. Why did I you say? I kept watching to see if the sometimes cute parts would blossom into something better but alas, it wilted on the vine. This could have been something better cause the parts that were good made me want the whole thing to be. It did remind me of watching a webtoon so I thought those moments were nicely done but overall, big sigh.
