IMO, Season 2 was better than Season 3. I do not mind illogical plotline as long as there is coherent character development, but the writers dug their heels too deep into the moral vs ethical dilemma and ended up messing both. Too many hindrances with dramatic direction lost the emotional touch that viewers feel on watching Dr.Romantic.
Recommendation: 6/10. Watch this only when/if S4 is announced to understand the continuity in the story.

This season was produced in collaboration with Disney, so it was bound to have some Disney elements to it. But in all, I think you will like it if your interested is mainly in Kim Sabu and how people can help other people grow.

I loved all the three seasons, and I'm highly biased. It's 10/10 for me.

I like S3 the best because it is no longer good vs bad with one note villains (which is my main issue with first two seasons). Winning over the villains over-shadows why Dr Kim is such a great drama - ie grounded in people bettering themselves for the common good.

S1 is edgy while S2 is somehow cotton candy. S3 has a looming dilemma at its heart while still maintaining good elements from the earlier seasons (eg nurturing and developing talents, working as a team within resource constraints, and most importantly, saving life at all costs). The fact of Dr Kim taking different tacts to address the issue at heart may create some questions in the audience. It does however show Doldam is somehow a unique community that bonds are important than anything. If you have watched S1 and S2, there’s no reason you shouldn’t watch S3. If you haven’t watched the earlier seasons and are keen for a good old drama about people, you won’t be disappointed.

All in all, this is a great series that I will continue watching if S4 comes along - with a catch though: Han Suk-kyu is non-replaceable as Kim Sabu. He alone is enough reason why we should watch it.

I've only watched Season 2 and 3, and liked 2 better as well. Not that I didn't enjoy this season cause I did, but something about season 2 was magical to me when I watched it last year.

I liked the expanding hospital with new doctors added, but other than Eun-jae and Wo-jin I feel everyone else was neglected. They needed either longer run time or a few episodes so that the story flowed better towards the end.
