This drama currently feels like a Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff movie combined with The Last Empress. The makjang elements are at full swing here but it does have tons of action sequences.
Also, Lee Ji Ah continues to kick ass here, she might be Korea's most underrated action star! From Athena, Penthouse, and now this one.

So they went for the idea of making an enemy out of Taera and Hae-soo. This better not be a back and forth of Hae-soo continuously hurting Taera, and Taera taking it all in and continuously apologizing for other reasons entirely not knowing Hae-soo knows the truth. That secondary guilt tripping I am not ready for.

Pyo Jae-hyun ain't a saint either. And here I was, worried that he'll be unable to handle a meeting with Kim Seon-deok. Alas! He's on another level of crazy. Clearly this isn't a battle of good and evil (except for Hae-soo) but a battle of good or bad evils. On that note, big applause to Jae-hyun for turning it on the party leader's head. That was smart and a way to call in a debt.

If Hyo-jin is a holograph, how does knowledge of current events? I'm guessing he's stuck in a hospital on life support machine.

After episode 2 I thought, "Hmm, I wonder if Pyo Jae-hyun is a baddie of some sort?" ..... Oh my gosh, now I wonder what else he'll do and how far he'll take things! I suspect he's known about his wife's secret(s) all along.

Oh my gosh, Lee Sang-yoon!! I don't think I've ever seen him like this before. It's not too far-fetched to speculate that no one will be left standing at the end of this. ...... Pyo Jae-hyun will make sure of that if he has to!

Here I was, thinking Pyo Jae-hyun needed protecting only to find out that the dude doesn't need it at all - at least for now.

105 being her lost brother became clear by that handshake. I get it if it simply felt full of resentment and anger but it also felt personal.

Director Kim is a goner, and her death was so satisfying to watch!! The actress did an excellent job in making the character so dislikeable. 👏🏼👏🏼

Kyo-jin is awake! Hurray! It's no surprise that Jae-hyun was behind his accident, but I didn't think Sung-chan was also an accomplice. Then again, the smart patch tech was originally Kyo-jin's before Sung-chan stole it.
[Now can Kyo-jin omma stop blaming Do-jin for the accident already? 🙄]

Lee Sang-yoon is really killing it as Pyo Jae-hyun. Some actors have a way of making bad look so sexy...🤭

Also... Tae-ra didn't kill Hae-soo's father, it was her brother who did?!

Nah. If not for anything, Director Kim really deserved to die for manipulating a KID to commit murder.

Jae-hyun must have lost his gaddam mind if he really believes that "fate" brought him and Tae-ra together. He needs to be locked up in Hanwool mental hospital.

Pyo Jiu is the biggest victim in all of this. Poor child getting shipped off to France to escape the mess going on between her parents. Sigh. But will she eventually get to France before she's stopped by Jae-hyun's men? I won't put it past that man to hold his daughter hostage in a bid to get Tae-ra to back down.

Meanwhile, is that a Tae-ra × Kyo-jin ship I sight on the horizon? Hmmm.

You speak my mind with the Taera - Kyo-jin ship. On one hand, it gives me relief, relief that Taera won't be implicated to the point of no return, nor would she be allowed to ruin herself to that extent.

Pandora shaked me to pieces this week. And watching episodes 7-10 all at once this week just made it all the more crazier.

Kyo-jin is awake✅ Kyo-jin Omma took back Kumjo✅✅(She needs to stop blaming Do-jin though for every single thing. I know the guy is cut from his father's cloth but she has to see that he's doing all the can to be far away from whatever has his father's touch). Taera and her brother are on good terms✅✅.

In the midst of all this I feel pity for Do-jin though, out of the trio. He's trying to be a good person on the general terms, and now trying to be a good person for Hae-soo out of a sincere penance for his adultery but it seems like all his fights are just coming crashing down. I don't know if the guy even has any last stand or defense left.

I really don't know why we are told the depth of Jae-hyun's back story if he's going to be the big bad nonetheless. On one hand I feel very sorry for the things he was made to pass through at a young age and I understand why he was a passive bystander all the times things went haywire. And I understand why he manipulated everything from the shadows. It was expected, and I must confess that his labyrinth is well layered. But the moment Kyo-jin got introduced more into the story properly in ep 9&10, I felt that he had crossed the line. I'm rooting for him though. Those people gat to pay for their sins. And while I understand that there'll be collateral damages in his path of revenge, you shouldn't lash out on those that never did you wrong - Hae-soo, Ha-jun, Kyo-jin. He should have directed his collateral damages at those who earned it. And it doesn't help that hurting them in the manners that he did could have been avoided and it wouldn't frustrate his plans. There were way lesser effects that he could have just opted for instead of the very grave ones.

"I'm rooting for him though"

Same. I'm not sure if it's the character or the actor or a combination of both, but I'm team Jae-hyun. Although, like you said, he should have directed his revenge to chairman Jang alone.

I did something different with this drama. I watched two episodes only, The first one and the last one. Based on that I can say this drama out-crazies most of the crazy dramas that I have watched so far. This drama started with chimpanzee implanted with chip being murdered and ended with antagonist somehow getting full face surgery, taking over someone’s life and still perusing the protagonist.
Did the story really end? It’s one crazy ride, if you want to have an out of body experience without any chemical help, just watch first and last episode as I did. You will not be disappointed.
