A new poster has dropped for JTBC’s The Good Bad Mother, with our title’s mom Ra Mi-ran (Dr. Park’s Clinic) who gets a parent do-over when her son Lee Do-hyun (The Glory) regresses from adult to child. The comedy premieres next month on April 26, with scripts by Bae Se-young (Life Is Beautiful) and PD Shim Na-yeon (Beyond Evil) directing. [JTBC]

Netflix released a new poster as well and we’re headed to the voting polls on the upcoming Queenmaker, where the savvy Kim Hee-ae (A Couple’s World) will be running Moon Sori’s (On the Verge of Insanity) election campaign. The race is on for Seoul’s next governor and we can cast our votes on April 14. [News1]

Chae Soo-bin (The Fabulous) is reviewing an offer to star in a new action-comedy called Treat Her with Caution (roughly translated). Still in the planning stages, the drama will be a remake of the 2017 Japanese series Caution, Hazardous Wife, which also has a movie sequel. [News3n]
Bona (Twenty Five Twenty One) is considering her next project as well and is up to play the lead role in a webtoon adaptation called Pyramid Game. With PD Park So-yeon attached to direct, the drama is planning to have a 10-episode run. In the meantime, we’ll be seeing Bona soon when Joseon Attorney begins next week. [Xports News]

Speaking of Joseon Attorney, MBC released more stills this week along with two highlight reels, found here and here. Starring Woo Do-hwan (The King: Eternal Monarch) and Cha Hak-yeon (Tomorrow), in addition to Bona, the sageuk premieres on March 31 in the weekend slot. [MBC]
Over on Coupang Play, a new poster and video teaser have been released for Part Two of Bait (a.k.a Decoy). Launching in two weeks on April 7, the crime-thriller’s story continues with Jang Geun-seok (Switch), Heo Sung-tae (Big Bet), and Lee Elijah (Delayed Justice) headlining the series. [Sports Chosun]

1. PD Shim Na-yeon is back, yay! I suppose I am looking forward to the show too, if only to understand what the heck the plot is supposed to be. Love the concept of a Ra Mi-ran/Lee Do-hyun parent-child relationship, but I’m confused by the whole ‘age regression’ thing.

2. Ah, if only the real politicians of Seoul were sexy badass girlbosses and not soulless misogynistic ghouls— *coughs* I mean, hurray for women supporting women. There’ll be some incredible acting if nothing else.

3. Please, for the love of God, let this finally be a script worthy of Chae Soo-bin’s immense talent. I have no idea what the source material is.

4. A quick search on MDL tells me it’s another high school-set dystopia. While nowhere near divorce lawyer levels, I am beginning to sense a trend…

5. Gorgeous, gorgeous people.

6. Okay but the facial hair on Jang Geun-seok really suits him. It looks good!

Good bad mother poster is giving me nothing, I don’t get how that is supposed to help me understand the storyline.
Loving the trailer for Joseon attorney it looks like it’s going to be fun 👀please let it be that tone throughout, remaining cautiously optimistic this will stay on the watchlist.

getting into an accident and losing memory , thinking he is xx age.. and turning into a bubbly young son Vs the cold, black suit mature son she had

Change in dynamics from cold to warm son-mon relationship.. only for us to realize that she sacrificed too much of her youth and in her life to ensure her best upbringing for her boy, which the boy isn't even aware of and has been so embarrassed by her all her life

CHERRY ON CAKE would be, if in the end she dies.. and audience can keep mending their broken hearts

Thinking he is x age resulting in change in personality is the bit we didn't see in any of the promo info instead there was vague mention of ‘becomes a child again’ without an understanding of what that meant. I agree we knew she was strict and like most parents in K dramaland their intention for their child and the execution of the plan to get them there does not always play out well.

I'm hopeful for the new LDH drama - I was a bit bummed because I really love his acting but his last few dramas haven't been my cup of tea so I didn't really stick around to watch any of them. Really hoping this one is the cure to the LDH drought for me!! Premise is intriguing for sure, I don't really know what to make of it but fingers crossed 🤞

3 - when will Chae Soobin work with someone I care for? I like her, I really do, but all her male leads lately have been a disaster, poor girl.

5 - finally Hakyeon's character has lines! I've missed his voice. Sageuk speech is an added bonus, let's see how it goes in a long show and not just cameo. It's 16 episodes, right?

age regression = memory loss, and acting as a young guy. Highly likely he may forget his mother too (or bad memories of his mother).. but leading to a happy/warm relationship
