SBS’s Why Her? with Seo Hyun-jin, Hwang In-yub confirms premiere date
by tccolb
SBS drama Why Her? has finally announced a start date, and with it stills of the first script reading which took place last year.
Seo Hyun-jin (You Are My Spring) stars as the central character Oh Soo-jae, a success-driven lawyer who coolly moves on after each case – never looking back or giving any time for regrets. Although she keeps up a cold demeanor, she is actually bottling up her emotional scars and refuses to address the sadness hidden inside of her.
When Seo Hyun-jin takes a teaching position at a law school, she meets Hwang In-yub (The Sound of Magic) who plays the seemingly ordinary law student Gong Chan. Naturally, he has his own secrets and past and the story will follow his and Seo’s journey as their relationship develops.
The charismatic and ambitious Heo Jun-ho (Snowdrop) plays Seo Hyun-jin’s boss, Choi Tae-gook. As the president of a large law firm, he carefully hides his true feelings and uses Seo like a pawn.
Rounding out the main cast, Bae In-hyuk (At a Distance, Spring Is Green) takes on the part of fellow law student Choi Yoon-sang. A prickly and lonely character, he wishes to live a free-spirited life and make his own way in the world.
The supporting cast includes, among others, law school director Kim Chang-wan (One the Woman), Hwang’s stepmom Bae Hae-sun (All of Us Are Dead), Cha Chung-hwa (Dr. Park’s Clinic) playing Seo’s bestie, as well as Ji Seung-hyun (You Are My Spring) as Heo’s eldest son.
Written by Kim Ji-eun and directed by PD Park Soo-jin, SBS drama Why Her? premieres June 3 in the Friday-Saturday slot.

This cast roundup is stellar. Heo Jun ho as usual bodes evil. I hope to see this man on the other side of bad one day. His son had better be a good guy.
Another legal piece is on its way to grace my screen. Just be more law theatrics than drama, show.

Glad to hear more news about this drama. At first, I heard it was going to be a May premiere, but June isn't too far either.
Yay, Ji Seung Hyun! I hope he won't be a total bad guy even though he's playing the big boss's son.

Agree with all of you guys. I have been missing Seo Hyun-jin Unnie also since You Are My Spring and been finding and watching youtube videos of her. Really excited for this one as her role is somewhat opposite from here role in YAMS. BTW, have you seen Unnie's karaoke video uploaded in SOOP Management Channel? Check it out. She's really amazing singer also. Uwaaaah. SHJ Unnie.
