Premiere Watch: Show Window: The Queen’s House

Time slot: Monday & Tuesday
Broadcaster: Channel A
Genre: Melo, mystery
Episode count: 16

Channel A’s next drama is here, and it seems to be following the vein of their usual (and shall we say, sensational) programming. But who can complain with this cast? Song Yoon-ah and Jeon So-min take the lead here, along with Lee Sung-jae and 2PM’s Chansung. The synopsis sounds a lot like JTBC’S Reflection of You, with a few tweaks to the story here and there, but perhaps they’ll feel quite different? Song Yoon-ah and Chansung play chaebol siblings who grow up to be lovely people. Song Yoon-ah has a devoted husband, beautiful home, and wonderful children, all of whom she adores — but of course, chaos lies in store. Jeon So-min falls in love with Song Yoon-ah’s husband and begins an affair with him. The secret starts off well-hidden, but not for long. Cue the melo-fest!

Wooyoung was Jason in Dream High but he's not acted since. I don't even think he was bad, he just doesn't seem to have much interest. Nichkhun does acting in Thai and Chinese mostly. Jun. K has only done musicals.

Wooyoung who acted as Jason in Dream High is 2PM member?? aww, such a pleasant surprise <3 sorry I don't know this fact since I don't follow kpop hehe, but I know Taec dan Junho are from 2PM :)
btw, Jason is my fave character from Dream High (and his loveline with IU there is my most fave too). ah, such a wonderful memory of Dream High (and Jason), so yeah I wonder why Wooyoung hasn't into acting since :(

Yeah, they were adorable. The WooU (milk) couple :)

He just said he doesn't have much interest in it and that he might consider it when he's older.

It must be 2PM in dramaland now. Not that I’m complaining. Great time to be a fan.

Jun So-min being shoddily photoshopped on the glass is freaking hilarious (why is her head so much bigger than everyone else's??). I cannot take this poster seriously.

lmao i think it's because it's meant to be her looking at the family photo, like an outsider looking in? it really isn't very well done though.

The actress is actually Jeon So-min- who is not to be confused with Jung So-min. I really like both actresses.

This may be a different sort of character from what Jeon So-min has played before- we shall have to see what she does with it.

I know it’s Jeon So-min. I just spelled her name differently. It’s confusing to keep track because different sites use different spellings.

I actually haven’t seen a ton of her acting work. I dropped Something About 1 Percent, so the only projects of hers I’ve seen are KBS drama specials. She was good in those. This could be a good opportunity to show off some versatility.

I like Joen So-min whom I find wholesome. I like her KBS drama specials too. Have you watched Top Star Yoo Baek that she leads together with Kim Ji-suk and Lee Sang-yeob. Not earth shattering but an enjoyable wholesome romcom.

ONE PERCENT OF SOMETHING (a re-make of ONE PERCENT OF ANYTHING) is a very good romcom, one of my favorites- and the rare case of a re-make being at least as good as the original. Jeon So-min plays a very reluctant Cinderella to an equally reluctant prince. It is a great story but not to everyone's taste.

You can see another good performance by Jeon So-min in TOP STAR YOO BAEK.

This role in this new drama is much different than her roles in either off those two shows.

I'm a big fan of Jeon So Min because of the two dramas you mentioned. I loved them both.

Top Star Yoo Baek is one of those dramas that’s been on my watchlist forever, but I never get around to actually starting it. Maybe this is the push I needed to finally press play.

It could be a revenge Kdrama! Oops, @db-staff might forgot to put revenge genre.

Would you please include this drama into the currently airing drama list here, so that we could have the complete picture? Don't ignore dramas airing on smaller channels, they work hard ,too, and deserve some recognition!

It'd be good to see Chansung in a different role that the one he played in Anti-fan.

even though the premise didn't excite me, but since it's on Channel A, (which has given me some really decent drama over the years), I'll check the first ep out.
side note, I am now worried that my baby (Idol: The Coup)'s rating will be affected by this drama since this one airs half hour before Idol :( but of course I hope both will be doing great.

I don't like makjang, but I love Chansung and Jeon So Min.

My 2Pm fangirl heart can't barely keep up with babes in dramas. Being a hottest is a hard task... (sighs and remembers when she cried for contents during hiatus...).
