A new sports and romance drama is in the works for KBS called Going to You at a Speed of 493 km, and casting has been confirmed for actors Park Joo-hyun (Mouse) and Chae Jong-hyeop (The Witch’s Diner, Nevertheless).
Taking place in the world of badminton, Park Joo-hyun plays a former player named Park Tae-yang. Talented and known for her powerful smash, badminton was her biggest passion. Everyone had expected that she would compete in the Olympics one day, but she suddenly quit three years ago after a mysterious incident. Trying to move on, she succeeds in getting a job in a different field. However, she’s quickly assigned to play on the corporate badminton team and all the dreams that she had buried away start bubbling back up to the surface.
Chae Jong-hyeop takes on the role of a fellow badminton player, Park Tae-joon. Although he’s a skilled player himself, badminton for him is a means to an end. Being an athlete is basically just a job and his dream is to live a comfortable life after he finally retires. But when he’s let go from the professional league, he’s somehow recruited to play on a corporate team instead. There, he meets Park Joo-hyun and, as their relationship blossoms, he’s inspired by her to change and grow both as an athlete and as a person.
Directing for the drama is PD Jo Woong (Justice) and writing will be done by Heo Sung-hae (Tomorrow With You, Full Sun).
KBS drama Going to You at a Speed of 493 km is currently being planned to air early next year in 2022.

Chae Jong-Hyeop is pretty green but so cute in the same time :p
After Racket Boys, I'm ready for another badminton drama. It reminds me the Japanese movie Mixed Double about tennis table.

After Racket Boys, I’m excited about all things badminton. If this drama’s even half as good as that was, I would consider it as a win.
As for that pairing, it’s not one I ever imagined but I can already see it and I like it a lot.

It's SUN! *Sic watched 1 episode total of Sisyphus and now that's forever what she will know this poor boy as woops XD*
I also love Park Joo Hyun, so whilst the crew is a bit of a caution point, the cast is a draw.
