Drama viewership ratings for the week of May 17-23, 2021

It’s nice to see the Wednesday-Thursday slot doing so well these days, when it’s usually the worst slot of the week. Sell Your Haunted House and Law School hit their highest ratings to date, with 6.9 percent and 6.2 percent respectively. We also had crime thriller Mouse wrap up to 6.2 percent — not its highest, but a good note to end on.

The Monday-Tuesday shows are hanging in there, Doom at Your Service staying pretty strong despite a slight dip to 3.2 percent. The weekend shows are staying strong as well, with Taxi Driver, in particular, going at high speed. The only show that’s not having much luck is Dark Hole, which is struggling to stay above the 1 percent mark.

Maybe because MBC Wed-Thurs drama rating is not included? 🥲

Waiting patiently for the cast’s dance video.

YESSSSS! Best news for such a well written, acted and filmed drama. Episode 8 featured a hug (rather than a kiss) but oh was that a great hug! I usually ff through the patriarchy/palace intrigue but it was so well done I was riveted. There are a half-dozen fascinating subplots to Bossom; I can't wait for each new episode and the dance video!

I have only one question - why did Mouse need 20 hours and a sidequel? Also, would a well written show need any special episodes to help people understand anything? In the end how come such a messy mess garnered so much attention after all? Well, these are more than one question. But why? Just why?

Yay for Bossam!

Not surprised at Doom's drop.

The Wed/Thurs slot has been tough for jtbc but Law School is doing surprisingly well.

Koreans are into makjang right now so I knew Mine would be a hit but makjang needs the crack factor and Mine is missing it.
