Lee Hee-joon on the hunt with Lee Seung-gi in new teaser for tvN’s Mouse

A new video teaser has been released for tvN’s upcoming crime drama Mouse, featuring the main cast: Lee Seung-gi (Vagabond), Lee Hee-joon (Mistress), Kyung Su-jin (Hush), and Park Joo-hyun (Zombie Detective).

The drama’s main conflict involves a dangerous serial killer and the case is handed over to two unlikely partners in the police division. One is hardened detective Lee Hee-joon, whose life goal has always been motivated by the tragedy he suffered as a young child. And all he’s ever wanted is to chase down the murderer who killed his parents and personally take revenge. The second is fresh-faced, rookie officer Lee Seung-gi who has until now just been the friendly neighborhood cop. But after having dealt mostly with small, local matters, this new exposure to violent crimes is an experience that turns his life upside down.

The new video teaser starts with the two Lees driving somewhere in the night and Lee Hee-joon looks at Lee Seung-gi to ask, “Have you ever met a psychopath?” Taken aback, Lee Seung-gi replies, “Sorry?” and the intercutting text screens explain that, “He is hunting humans.” Lee Hee-joon continues that, “No one can know what goes on inside people’s minds.” And we get a glimpse of some of the other characters in a sequence of shots revealing Ahn Nae-sang (Secret Royal Investigator), PD Kyung Su-jin, and high school student Park Joo-hyun.

Cut to an unknown person with bloodied pants and shoes approaching someone from behind. From a distance, we see the dark outline of the perpetrator attacking the victim and the body is dumped into a lake. The video closes on a close-up of Lee Seung-gi who looks worried. And he asks in a serious voice, “When about will this hunting end?”

Written by Choi Ran (Black) and directed by PD Choi Joon-bae (Come Here and Hug Me), Mouse is currently set to premiere on March 3 and will be airing Wednesdays and Thursdays on tvN.

I’m so looking forward to this. Still don’t know when it’s going to be available in my region though...

Fortunately I have a watching buddy to help me cope when it is too scary for me 😅

I’m a huge Lee Seung-gi fan so I’m looking forward to this. He doesn’t look particularily old per se, but him as a rookie may be starting to push it methinks :D I don’t think I’ve seen Lee Hee-Joon in much, so hopefully he can make me a fan with this as well!

There are a lot of shows I’m really looking forward to coming out soon. Exciting time to be a kdrama fan indeed!

Just think of it as a rookie cop who started a bit later 😅

I had the same thought about Seung-gi! Then I remembered he's my age and had an existential crisis 😐

Ha he’s my age as well (actually a year younger), which is why I found it funny he was starring as a rookie. Still pumped for another Lee Seung-gi show!

I kinda hope that LSG's character is more dark and meaty compared with his previous roles. For example, his character actually turn out to having dissociative identity disorder (DID). One persona is a innocent looking, kind and enthusiastic rookie officer, other is a cold hearted serial killer. So we can see him from the "human" perspective and "devil" point of view.
