Song Ji-hyo’s four suitors come to save the day in new teaser for JTBC’s Did We Love

A new video teaser has been released for JTBC’s upcoming drama Did We Love (formerly Begin Again), featuring Song Ji-hyo (Lovely, Horribly), Sohn Ho-joon (The Light in Your Eyes), Song Jong-ho (Arthdal Chronicles), Gu Ja-sung (The Secret Life of My Secretary), and Kim Min-joon (Modern Family).

The drama stars Song Ji-hyo as a single mom whose life has been devoted to taking care of her daughter and working hard in her career. As a result, dating and romance had been pushed out of her mind. But everything changes when four men suddenly appear in her life and she’s given another chance at love.

The newly released teaser is filmed like a Western (paying homage to the film, The Good, the Bad, the Weird) and starts with a chase sequence in the desert. Song Ji-hyo and her daughter run for their lives as a group of bandits chase them on horseback. The bandits circle around Song as she tries to protect her child and the leader lifts his sword in triumph when he is suddenly shot in the chest. The daughter exclaims, “Father has come!” and we see the silhouette of the cowboy who fired the shot.

Cut to four different men racing towards the group from a distance and Song Ji-hyo gasps in surprise. She counts, “One, two, three… four!?” and, in a series of shots, we get a better look at each of the four men. Song Jong-ho and Kim Min-joon ride up on horses – with Song saddling brown and Kim in black. Sohn Ho-joon drives an open jeep and Gu Ja-sung races forward on a sidecar motorcycle. Song Ji-hyo asks her daughter in confusion, “But, which of them is it?” And, exasperated, her daughter responds, “You’re so frustrating.”

Directed by PD Kim Do-hyung and written by Lee Seung-jin, Did We Love premieres July 8 and will be airing Wednesdays and Thursdays on JTBC, following Mystic Pop-up Bar.

Wait what? Song Jong-ho was a Neanthal in ARTHDAL CHRONICLES? I didn't recognise him 😂😂😂

I'm gonna try this drama for the good, the bad, and the crazy. 😉

I don't even remember seeing him in it but then we were not seriously watching it anyway.

I highly highly recommend "The Good, the Bad, the Weird" even if you are not into Spaghetti Western. It's a lot of fun for all ages.
This film will always be on my top 10 k-film and Kim Jee-woon is one of my fave filmmakers.
If you are not in love with Jung Woo-sung yet, or find Song Kang-ho's acting chops a revelation then try this.

JTBC is rocking it with experimenting different genres. I can't wait to watch it.

Is there anyone not in love with Jung Woo-sung??

I feel like most of the early 2000s hardcore K-drama fans are not around anymore and Jung Woo-sung spend most of his time in Chungmuro.

I watched "The Good, The Bad, The Weird" today! Definitely not what I was expecting when I wished for a battle and horses galloping across the plains.🤣

I hardly watch movies so I haven't seen Jung Woo-sung in anything except "Musa: The Warrior". When he first appeared I was like "Musa, I hope you're a good guy!". Then, I noticed his long legs. Finally, when he shot down an entire battalion from the saddle of his horse I was a goner.😍 I'm so sad that he's done too few dramas... Do I need to watch Athena: Goddess of War or Padam Padam?

Toki,
I'd start with Noh Hee-kyung's Padam Padam.
I didn't care for Athena.
You might like his movie DAISY with Jun Ji-hyun.

True, just made me feel old.

I still remember my first encounter of Jung Woo-sung in none other than 'A Moment to Remember'. I was thinking how could someone be that handsome and swoony - is he real?! I still think he is the MOST handsome Korean actor to this date.

Doing romance is perhaps a waste of his talents and he is equally great in the dark villain roles he plays in recent years. Yet to watch Innocent Witness from last year.

Looking forward to his upcoming Netflix drama The Sea of Silence - though in the director's chair - headlined by Gong Yoo and Bae Donna.

Probably, but not Seo-Taiji and his lawyers back in 2010/2011.

He is also someone who has strong core ethical values as well. Even though he caught a lot of flack for it in South Korea, he took on the ambassador role for Refugees for Unicef. Not many celebrities would to save face, but he did and for that I will always admire him.

Kinda feels like a Reply series reunion with '1994 Haitai and '1997 Tae-Woong, respectively suitors #1 an #2.

Let me make a bold assumption here - our dear Song Ji-Hyo might take on more roles in dramaland and movieland, eventually leaving Running Man to be replaced by Kang Han-Na.

Side question: Is Running Man that strenuous on its actors that it takes time away from them taking on different projects? It seems like that in of itself is exhausting (Being on Running Man/Also Being an Actor too)?

It seems less strenuous as it used to be. Kwangsoo was on Inseparable Bros and Tazza: One-Eyed Jack last year. He also has a new movie this year with Cha Seung Won. Jihyo has 2 movies in 2018 and a new movie coming up on August. Somin is probably not getting good offers that is why she’s only on short dramas last year.

Ooh interesting! I heard that RM changed a bit to fit in w/ variety shows now. I still do hear how a lot of the members are married/have kids, and b/c it can get physical (or was very much so in the past) that their bodies can't take the physical challenges.

I wonder if the OG cast members are gonna leave RM? Anyways, as for Somin that must suck tbh esp. since she has mental health issues recently so I hope she's feeling better.

It will never be the same if OG members leave the show. I hope Somin is feeling better too! I missed her in RM.

Am replying here for it is not possible to your comment below.

Do I have regrets about RM? Yes. I wish Lizzy had stayed. As well as Gary. But I would not miss Ji Suk Jin at all if he were to leave. And the "new" PD is a very nice addition - more respectful of the members' well-being, both physically and mentally, at least thus far.

Somin has come back and seems to be better. The writers and PD did an excellent job on the latest episode, #505, as I too was trying to decipher hints and analyzing patters, despite Korean not being my native language. The story and clues made a lot of sense to me and I was rooting for Haha, as always. :)

I love RM and the new members but I missed the Monday couple sometimes :(

Well I sometimes watch old footage of the Monday Couple interractions, but Gary is much happier now, not having to pretend to be in a fake relationship as a married man and a - wonderful - father to Ha-Oh, as attested on TROS.

I thought that Song Ji-hyo was released from RUNNING MAN about a year ago. Was I wrong?

She was not. Back in 2016 Kang Ho-Dong received an offer to replace her and Kim Jong-Kook, which he "declined", and both OG members have remained on RM for now.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the teaser but somehow considering that it is Song Ji Hyo (The Ace) we are talking about, there seems to be missing plot twist second part of it where she handles the goons and saves all four men! :-D
