It looks like Lee Ji Ah may have actually gotten divorced way back in 2006, but that it only pertained to her status in the US. But that would be unlikely since Taji's friend BYJ wouldn't have cast LJA in Legend.

I think it's rather rude to automatically assume she got the role for her acting debut through her husband's connections. After all, it seems most everyone was not aware of their marriage.

The fact that she agreed to publicize her romance with Jung Woo Sung while still filing the divorce with Seo Taiji is unbelievable. What the actual f*** happened in that girl's mind? I bet Seo Taiji was pissed because he helped her to become the celebrity she is nowadays, and when she has the fame she publicly goes out with another man.

I really like her in The Legend but then she could no longer top that performance. Girl has the chance and the connections anyone is vying for, but she screwed it and it's her fault.

I thought something strange was really going on. A couple(?) of weeks ago, Entertainment Weekly ran the news of JA and JWS's escapade in Paris. He looked absolutely radiant BUT on the return from Paris, there was only JWS minus LJA. HE lost the radiant look. My sixth sense already picked up something was wrong although I didn't know what.

I think I have even less respect for LJA now. I don't really care about her age issues but on a personal level, she lacks integrity.

Okay I barely know these people and I'm like gasping for breath shocked! It's such a conundrum! I keep thinking what is the reason for this coming out now? and there's no way that her current boyfriend won't know she's married and how could she think that public records won't be in the papers? what made them announce their dating status? Is she pregnant? are they going to get married? how bad was her marriage that she could just date openly? celebrities really have a hard time.

So now all of you realize than all this ... we sleep in different rooms in our honey moon because we are still not married(Jung Joon-ho), i hadn't dayed for ten years(idols),movies or dramas the girl and the boy only have a pick on lips because they all are so inocent so they don't know how to kiss ... bullshit.

If everything is to be believed--like Jung Woo Sung not knowing that his current girlfriend is married and in the process of divorcing--then, I can't but think that Lee Jia is kind of shady. As others have pointed out, there were questions about her age and background, granted that's common practice in the industry.

My mind is still reeling at this! I'm in shock, Seo Taiji was one of the first Korean artist I came across when I was first exposed to the Korean music scene.
The fact that she was married to such a high-profile star and no one knew it is mind-bogging.
I guess that answers all my questions about her, I couldn't figure out how she was landing some of her roles with her mediocre acting. It all makes sense that Seo Taiji was pulling strings behind the scenes.
I'm wondering if JWS knew her marital situation before he started dating her. Now he's entangled in the whole mess whether he knew or not.
