#crownedclown i struggled to get past ep 5(managed to finish it in 3 sittings) so decided to take a refresher with another drama,sky castle,which i belatedly realized is not actually lightweight..

    Yeah crowned clown is good but she episodes feel more.like filler. Like ep 4 – I gave up and just read the recap through 40 mins of the episode.. *sigh*.If.ep 5 is the same, I’ll read it and pick up ep 6.

on the #SkyCastle train- i can see why it got high ratings.it has every kdrama trope & the kitchen sink in it.terrible parents,love triangle,birth secret,etc- why not throw time travel in for giggles?

    A traditional durian jam here is called lempuk. While the oldwives use it in sweet porridge (pengat) and traditional cakes such as dodol and wajid, i like to put it on bread and dip with cream crackers.

i definitely don’t envy the makeup team tho.. so many zombies, so little time XD there must be hundreds of makeup staff to do them all #Kingdom and just how many liters of fake blood were they using..

#Kingdom quality is excellent,it’s like watching a very long movie, and JJH’s totally magnetic as the Prince <3 i skipped most of the gory,zombie-full scenes but was never bored by the story

    IKR! I’m glad you give it a chance. I hate zombies, but k-drama magic somehow managed to make me through 6 hours for Kingdom.

      the opening credit’s cinematography was sooo beautiful i was instantly hooked lol.. each ep was roughly 40 mins long tho, so actually i’ts only around 3 hours of bingeing. JJH is <3 i wasn't a fan before but Crown Prince is strangely bae even covered in blood lol

    I loved him in I Remember You. He plays creepy characters really well.

      This is literally the only role I’ve ever liked him in, even outside the fact that this is one of my favorite dramas.

        I also liked him in Reply 1988, his character was quiet but so quirky, he fitted in that group of friends so well.

          I haven’t seen that one, but I have heard nothing but good things. It’s not that I don’t think he’s a good actor, I just feel like constantly putting him in these sweet guy roles is a waste of his talent, and honestly not really a stretch from his public personality.

    As much as I admire him for portraying Lee Min so well, villain roles don’t fit him very well; in my opinion anyway. I never got to see a real, genuine PBG smile there.
