A little bit of absurdity is always expected of Park Ji Eun. She’ll make an actress fall in love with an alien, a chaebol parachuting into NK, a mermaid and conman forming a team. There is the same flair of absurdity but in a subtle way in Queen of Tears as well and I don’t mind it. What I do find disappointing is that after 2 eps, this show is boring. And that’s so unlike PJE. Even if I’ve only completed 2 of her shows, I can say that all of those including the ones I dropped were fun. But Queen of Tears is not yet. I’ll keep watching, hoping it becomes better but the story seems very thin too.

It had its moments but far few in between. And they didn’t need 90 minutes for this episode.
