Third time lucky? I loved AM 1997 and AM 1988 but I’ve failed to get past episode 1 of Answer Me 1994 in the past. I’m getting round it this time by starting at episode 2! Wish me luck beanies. 😬

    I only watched AM1997, the other two are on my to watch list, anyway wishing you luck with AM1994 🙂

      Thanks. I think it was the same for the first episode of AM 1997 actually. All a bit over the top and loud and it took a while to get used to all the screeching!

    This might sound crazy to other beanies but Reply 1994 is my favorite of the three! I don’t know but I just loved this group more than the others!
    Episode 2 is where Yoo Yeon-seok makes his 1st appearance so you might like it!

      Yeah. He turned up right at the end of the episode! I’ll see how it goes but I think it will be hard to beat 1988.

        Yeah? Reply 1988 is more family-oriented but this one is all about the love triangle, you need to choose your ship right or else you’ll get one of the worst heartbreaks ever!

        Yes, I’ve re-watched it a lot, still do but not all of it, just my favorite scenes!

    I have only watched 1988 and loved it so very much… and started 1994 with so much anticipation and couldn’t complete first episode. as you said it was so loud and over the top. i am still hoping ill be able to finish it on my second attempt somewhere in future.
