I could not reply further and wanted to move the convo elsewhere. My first language is Dutch, so English and Danish are family😉

Translation has lots of pros and cons indeed! I am autistic and need lots of structure, something hard to come by in the freelance translation lifestyle (or should I call it workstyle?). Also, my studies sucked all the fun out of language learning, so I had to keep it strictly as a hobby to keep loving it.
