The Brave Yong Soo-jung ep 1: Don’t ask me why I’m watching this. Actually, I’ll tell you: I needed something mindless to put on when cooking dinner tonight and then realized this is probably exactly what Korean ajummas do when they watch their daily dramas and hey… I get it.

In this very first episode we saw our heroine as a little girl go through her mom having cancer, her parents going missing during an accident, her evil aunt taking over her house and giving her bedroom to her cousin, being locked out of her house, her mom coming BACK, and then her mom dying after trying to save her from the fire that our little heroine caused when she was locked in a room by her aunt and unable to get out.

This sure is a Daily Drama.

    I watch family dramas (weekender and daily), but I’ve noticed that I can’t with MBC. For exactly everything that you described of that show, hahaha.

    But the crazier the show, the easier it is to put it on the back while you do something else… Maybe that means MBC is doing it right? 😆

    That one episode sounds like a film🤣 No wonder they end up repeating the same issues for next 120 episodes don’t the writers feel embarrassed submitting the screenplay😳
