Go Back Couple was one of the dramas that made tear up, all those scenes between JinJoo and her Mom (the feels!)
But the one drama that really had me bawling my eyes out was The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.
The characters, the constantly uneasy mood, the colour palette used, the soundtrack and especially the acting.
The acting on this drama was just superb – Jung So Min and Seo In Guk were perfect. All of the main characters were so complex and layered in a way that made them so believable and intriguing. I felt every moment of this drama, the warmth when Moo Young and Jin Kang found solace in each other and the heart wrenching pain when they stayed apart.
Needless to say, I was absolutely gutted (those who watched it will know)
One of my faves, but I’m not planning on re-watching it anytime soon, enough with the emotional roller-coasters for now haha
She Was Pretty – It must the the only Park Seo Joon drama that I wished he didn’t get the girl. Choi Siwon was witty and hilarious and had a great chemistry with Hwang Jun Eun. Park Seo Joon was just lukewarm next to him…
Heirs –The show itself was a trainwreck, but I was still rooting for Choi Young-Do to get the girl, because he was somehow less of an ass than Kim Tan (sorry LMH fans, KWB ftw)
Sungkyunkwan Scandal – Geol Oh all the way.
Itaewon Class- It wasn’t really a case of SLS because honestly I didn’t care enough for the characters or the show past ep. 8 but Soo-a felt more real, despite all of her flaws and I could see her connection to Sae-Ro-Yi. Never warmed up to Ye-seo.
So I started watching My Country and I’m really enjoying it so far. Great cast!
And I’m just going to leave this here to all Woo Do Hwan fans to enjoy haha
In terms of plot and pacing, which one is better: Romance is a Bonus Book or Crash Landing on You? Besides the \”pretty\” (too obvious? haha), I\’m looking for a feel good drama, CLOY seems quite melo..
CLOY actually has a lot of humor. But also the pacing felt slow to me. It was very enjoyable until 14.. Then it got really draggy.
I loved RIABB too. I don’t remember it being draggy.. But, I live watched it and didn’t binge. I would personally recommend RIABB over CLOY.
Thanks! I got that impression from the comments on the CLOY recaps, it seemed that the story dragged a lot towards the end… guess I’ll end up watching RIABB
Both aren’t exactly feel good. There are other shows that come in this category but if you specifically want to decide between these two then RIABB will be more feel good.
Thank you, I also think RIABB will be better! It’s not that I want to choose between those two, but my mother wants to watch a kdrama (for the first time ever – quarentine effects haha) but she doesn´t understand english subs, so I have to choose between the dramas that are available on Netflix on my country (which aren’t that many -.-)
Other option could be “When The Camelia Blooms” – I have watched it and I’ve liked it, but I don’t know if its too “slow” for a person watching a kdrama for the first time.
I think RIABB or CLOY will make more of an impact.
Byun Hye Young was such a fun badass character, loved her! and Lee Joon and So Min *swoon* What a realistic feel good family drama!
Can someone recommend me a similar drama? Thanks!

Just finished watching Father is Strange and I’m already suffering from withdrawls
What an amazing heartwarming drama! Loved the story and all the characters. The cast had such a great chemistry!

The first kdrama that got me hooked was Goong.
Despite my love for the story and it’s characters (and my instant crush on Joo Ji Hoon haha), the OST is still one of my favourites!
Perhaps Love (translated to our language) was MY theme song with my first ever boyfriend! Of course he didn’t agree and chose a Michael Bublé song (which tbh was also good).

If you cant to write more than 200 characters, just write somewhere else, and then copy and paste in your wall.

My Country was great. The bromance between Hwannie and Yang Se Jong is the best part. Both actors did a phenomenal job (and Jang Hyuk of course).

CLOY is funnier but the eps are quite long so for a first-timer RIABB is prolly better – it’s light, funny, sweet and yes also very pretty 🙂
