Yeah, love her long locks–they definitely make her look older, but there’s something about her face, too… she definitely looks more mature now. They grow up so fast. ?
Maybe the lipstick? I think she used to wear pink/peach gradient lips in the past, but her lips have a deeper colour now. The flowy hair might be making her face look longer and thinner, aging her slightly.
I am. I miss all the Moonlighters so I’m here and there occasionally, searching for familiar names, lol. And YeongOn’s reunion at Baeksang last night brings back memories. I hope everyone is reliving Moonlight’s memories through their photos too.
1. A Life Time Love – It’s about a princess falling for a war god of a neighboring kingdom. Her kingdom clashes with his when her father invades his country to attain world domination.
2. The King’s Woman – A tale of a beautiful woman caught the interest of the Qin Emperor, so she was captured and sent to his palace. The woman has a love child with her lover, but the emperor is willing to take the child as his, so she is deeply moved and eventually falls for him. But her previous lover attempts to assassinate the emperor.
3. The Flame’s Daughter – The story focuses on a lively and passionate woman, heir to a big estate, and her entangled love with three men in her life. One enters a life of immortality just for the chance of meeting her again, yet he’s cursed with an unrequited love forever (guy in white). Another is a gentle, loving, crippled man who eventually loses most of his senses (guy in green). Lastly is an arrogant man who is her first love and also the one to break her heart (guy in blue).
have you seen ice fantasy or novoland? i keep on wondering whether they are worth picking up 🙂 let me also say , i have watched nirvana in fire (fav series ever), legend of zhen huan and scarlet heart.Ten miles of peach blossom is one i will watch very soon (long story but am in an asian drama ban due to report writing which should end within a few days)
Me too! I’ve been getting immersed in C-period dramas lately, hence the waiting list. I’ve watched Ice Fantasy and loved it! But I’m biased to Victoria so you have to approach it with cautious, lol. I’m not a fan of political drama so Nirvana is on hold. You should definitely watch Ten Miles of Peach Blossom, but watch it after Ice Fantasy, otherwise, you can’t find it in you to love any other C-dramas afterward, which is what I’m feeling right now, lol. I’m going to list the what I loved and hated in Ice Fantasy in my next comment.
What I loved in Ice Fantasy:
-The romantic love story between a realm guardian and her prince (main reason I’m watching).
-Brotherhood love (despite having no blood relation), a bond so deep both brothers are willing to die for one another and do everything to achieve the other’s happiness.
-Loyalty and camaraderie forged between the prince and his loyal subjects, whom he treats as equals and friends.
-Love of family.
-Side stories of the side characters are equally interesting and engaging.
What I hated in Ice Fantasy:
-The less satisfactory end for the main romance which I’ve been rooting from the start. They went through so many trials, and in the end, it isn’t quite a happy ending for them.
-Too much focus on the baddies, I didn’t care much for them and their arc.
-The prince is too weak for his own good, so everyone fought his battle for him (I still love him though).
What could have been better:
-CGIs and makeup. I have to admit there are times I was sitting there cringing at the CGIs and their melted makeup (especially the main lead), but since the stories were able to engage me, I was able to look past all.
-Ending, I understood the ending, I just didn’t like it. They were trying to make way for sequel, but unfortunately the sequel sucked so bad. I didn’t bother finishing the sequel.
aah, ten miles of peach blossom is one those , so good that everything you watch after pales in comparison , i’ll keep it in mind 😉
thank you for listing out the good, the bad and the maybe for ice fantasy, now i’m curious that i really want to watch it, moving it up in my watchlist 😉
Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms isn’t without its flaws, but it was a great watch for me, I still re-watch it occasionally. I hope you enjoy it! But yeah, finish your report! 😉
Yeah, I don’t quite remember where I got the poster, but Fengjiu looks absolutely stunning in this. And I love the flowers decorating her hair. So dreamy and beautiful.

I think it’s the dress and the hair. The stylists are obviously going for a more mature look for her now.

She lost weight, so she lost the baby cheeks she used to have. And she’s grown up beautifully. Hope to see more of her in the future.
