But he never said anything about his feeling towards Dan-oh. It’s always “ya, Haru. You’re an extra, so act like one”. To me he looks like he’s more concerned about an extra who potentially could upstage him/alter the stage more than Dan-oh.
I think the answer to your question is “both”. He’s a tsundere on and off the stage, and he is also jealous of Haru. He likes Dan-oh but most of the time doesn’t know how to act decently (thank goodness she told him). Ultimately he’s afraid. He’s lost everything he thought was real, including Dan-oh’s affection, so he sees Haru as a threat.
Also, I think he’s super bitter that everyone’s ‘real’ selves can’t really get on with him. He genuinely seemed to enjoy having Haru as a loyal friend and actually stopped winding people up for like, 2.5 seconds.
So maybe it feels like a double betrayal to have such strong and unwavering loyalty that he tested, trusted and leaned on to be taken away: no matter how awful he was to Dan Oh, she fawned over him. Haru would help him out and do kind things for him without prompting and quite insistently.
No-one in his life does that for him!
And Haru is (now) at the intersection of both of those broken connections.
Rather than curse the writer (I think he’s the one person we haven’t seen give them a curse word or 5), he blames Haru. And he purposefully targets Dan Oh now in order to wind up Haru because it’s the one thing that does rile him up and get a reaction, even if Haru knows Baek Kyung is doing it on purpose.
And I think that both amuses and infuriates him, to see how sincere and deep and sure Haru’s feelings towards Dan Oh are besides his flickering feelings which he’s still sorting through in typical tsundere manner.
Because life was simpler before Haru turned up so it must be Haru’s fault life is now like this #BrokenLogic #BaekKyungLogic
I can’t help feeling sorry for Baek-kyung. I don’t know if it’s because I really the character (despite his flaws) or simply for Lee Jae-wook. I hope the writer will give Baek-kyung a good ending.

Does Baek-kyung really like Dan-ho? Or he just doesn’t want to be upstaged by Haru?

He tooootally likes her but took her for granted AND is now ‘losing’ her to someone else.
So, Tantrum Land.
