We are at the dreaded ep 13 & 14 angst. Can we for ONCE please not have an OTP centred angstville episode. After 4 blissful episodes of the OTP sharing, growing, bonding, understanding, giving emotional support, being intuitive – surely they will not suddenly turn 360 and be idiots of the noble kind right? I\’ll take childhood, mother, abandonment and any other issue as long as RG and DM face it together, hand in hand and with full disclosure.

Ok some comments on RG
1. He really gave EG a chance to back off in the morning, knowing that EG was trying to keep DM secret – he made it known he saw DM, he said he wanted to speak to DM and then when EG would not budge – he used the girlfriend card. I get the feeling that he did not want to say that until DM stubbornly refused to come out and EG was getting more and more passive aggressive possessive.
2. SNG reveal – when EG declared he liked DM – RG turned away to gather his thoughts – not because he was angry at DM – it was contemplative – how far should he go to reveal what he knows – I am sure he did not want to tell DM that he knew she was SNG this way – but he did not want to back down in the face of EG\’s declaration either. So he let her know that he knew. He got the gist of information out including an apology and it is telling that he wanted that part to be private with her, as it should be between couples – he asked if this was a discussion they should have in front of EG.
3. Loved that it was DM who hauled him away, wrist grab and all!!
4. RG is such a tease!!

    I also think that the reason Ryan did reveal he was seeing Deok-mi and he knew she Si Na Gil was also a way to take the upper hand that Eun-gi thought he had over them. Eun-gi has been so smug in his knowledge that he’s the only one who knows Deok-mi this intimately that it hasn’t occurred to him that it’s not just about knowing who she is, but also accepting that part of her and embracing it. He uses her fangirling to shame her and lord over her. When Ryan reveals this, and reveals it’s immediately apparent that this doesn’t turn him off, I think that really screwed with Eun-gi’s manipulations.

      Yup exactly. Isn’t Ryan just the bee’s knees!!! Ryan has known for just a few months and he finds it so adorable that he even aids and abets!!!

So you know how in 1% of Anything you have shorter episodes cos the drama is OTP centred and the secondary characters are brought into focus mainly where they have inpact of would impact the OTP? Well I thought to myself how HPL would be if it were formatted 1% of A style and in the name of science and experimentation – I went and watched HPL from eoisode 1 – 10 – and skipped all the unnecessary (EG) parts and made it OTP centred.
Results – OMO!! (As in Oh My Ovaries!) You might want to try it yourself. Just to reconfrim my findings. But the OTP development and interaction and awareness and everything was delicious. Heart thumping to say the least.

      But seriously – what is it with the American camera guy and sound guy? The sound was so bad – V’s mic and Jin’s mic wasn’t on or tuned down! In MIC Drop the mics were too loud and the music so soft! And everything is so dark!. I think in their US promos, only the Ellen show managed a reasonable shoot. The others were so bad – they are not used to filming 7 young men prancing all around the stage I guess!!
      Sigh. The boys need to be back in Korea and do some promotions where we can get some quality live performance.

        Yup – American cameras are definitely not used to this level of movement on stage. Or maybe even this many people performing at the same time (where all are in the spotlight) hahahaha

        I can’t wait for their Korean promotions to start, that’s where and when we’ll truly see them. 😀

    I enjoyed this version of the song, rather than the MV or CD version. It was smooth, and easy to listen to.

    I was grooving along, each time I watch it, and I’ve watched it more than dozen times now.
