    lol..nobody “defends” .. they respond, because you put out your opinion on display.

    You can choose to hold onto your own opinion or engage in a healthy discussion or do nothing

    you could just voice it out in the void.. why even need to put it up on display 😀

Anyway, don’t watch RoY if you expect good acting/storyline/directing.

Watch Fukuoka instead.

RoY or YR, whatever it\’s called, is wasting PSD\’s talent.

The storyline is bland and dry, characters as caricatures. I\’m starting to think that AKH has blackmailed PSD to take this drama.

    I wonder.. good acting will always gleam through and you can atleast see the effort of an actor trying to elevate the role..

    You see that with PGM, with actors playing his family, you see that with Shin aera…

    While production is the bigger problem, but onscreen PSD IS one of the problem.. her take is super bland!!.. too bland.. her bored look doesn’t create an excitement when she comes.. even second female lead was more active than her

    (a good comparison is More than just friends – ML’s character is so cliched and essentially run of the mill stuff, and YET the actor brings an unique charm to his role)

      I don’t think her acting is bland at all because she barely appears in this drama.

      But how can you say her acting is bland when she has 15 minutes cameo in every episode? PBG have 45 minutes, and she appears for 15 minutes.

        lol.. she seems way too much than 15 minutes.. but then if she can’t make her mark even in long 15 minutes presence, then problem truly is her acting and interpretation

      Also, for my honest take, I think everyone is shit in this drama. PBG as well even though he is center of this drama, because I think he overacts, or his emoting is weird/superficial.

      I’m not defending PSD’s drama choice, but I think this entire drama have shit production overall, that includes acting, editing, directing, script, everything.

        hmm.. sure.. your take or mine.. both have 1 thing is common, that PSD is doing a very very bad job..

        she is fairly over rated – except for parasite, she has never done a decent job in any of her work

        it is not going anywhere.. no captivating story to tell either

    Yeah, I think this show is a flop. I had really high expectations going in, but it’s been mostly disappointing so far. Very little in this show is working for me.

And this is coming from someone like me who enjoys My Unfamiliar Family. My Unfamiliar Family treats family issue with sincerity, whereas YR treats family issue like 90s soap opera.

The only reason why I\’m still watching ROY or YR, whatever it\’s called, is because of Jungha shows some promise.

Other than that, YR is boring as hell. Especially the family part along with PBG.

Man, now that I see Youth Records being filmed in SK during Coronavirus, I just hope they prepare the filming well.
