How to resume watching a show you have abandoned for months?
Start watching it again from the beginning😅
Because of Shadow Detective, i have gained some courage to finish Through the Darkness. This time, for real.
Because of my mental condition, i have been unable to watch crime/mystery dramas, my go to drama genre. But with the power of Kim Namgil’s hair and excellent casts, i’m willing to watch TTD all over again and thank goodness, i have not exposed myself to spoilers.
I want to earn my bean. Wish me luck beanies
TTD is about the process of creating a new profession, and KNG’s struggles with his mental health because of his job. It was written and acted phenomenally, but I wouldn’t count it as a crime mystery drama at all.
I resumed watching Our Beloved Summer. I had watched the first two episodes at the beginning of this year. As I have a good memory, when I resumed it in October I started from Episode 3.
By the way, Through the Darkness is one I want to watch soon. Some people have told me it’s the best 2022 drama, in their opinion.
I have watched 8 episodes months ago and after watching it again from the beginning, and now episode 3, i realized i don’t have good memory cos i don’t remember anything so it’s a good decision😂
Here to join in all the accolades for THROUGH THE DARKNESS. Kim Nam-gil was outstanding playing real life profiler Kwon Il-young. (He also looked great with his hair cut in the style of the late 90s/early 2000s and wearing those polo shirts or whatever they were.) TTD is definitely one of my favorites of the year.
When TTD aired in January there was almost a month gap between episodes 6 and 7. I used that break to watch the 2021 Netflix documentary THE RAINCOAT KILLER: CHASING A PREDATOR IN KOREA which covers in depth the story lines portrayed in TTD. That was a bit of a mistake and I should have waited until TTD a finished to watch the documentary. TTD doesn’t follow the actual events precisely which started to annoy me but then I accepted how in this fictional account the event were being portrayed. In other words don’t follow my example. Watch the documentary after you finish TTD if you want to continue your education (which you might not want to).
I didn’t know about the documentary. Thank you so much for letting me know but considering i’m not so ready to watch something that dark, i’ll probably skip the documentary
