      Yes! KSH showed so much range here… action, comedy, drama, romance! This proved to me he’s a really great actor… (I think I would’ve noticed him here if I had watched this during it’s run)

      Read somewhere that some didn’t like the FL because she caused the ML so much trouble… but for me, that was part of the story.
      Loved the plot, how the romance was developed, but was never the center … loved the cast and their chemistry. It was a very balanced drama, a good mix of everything. Will look out for the next drama of the writer!

      I also like the genre, and am a fan of the FL since “My Little Bride” so I might be biased. 😛

      Hope I convinced you to give it a try 🙂

          It’s so far the only other full length drama of KSH that I’ve completed and even rewatched… I’ve started the others but, maybe because of the genre, his co-stars or his character.. I haven’t resumed watching them… sorry KSH 😛

Rewatching Start-up and realizing HJP has seen SDM at her most vulnerable moments… from that first letter, when she lost her dad, when she met her sister and mom again, and when she met DS again..

    HJP has been her sandbox, her brother, her family from the moment he entered into halmoni’s life. Her fate and his have been intertwined. Regardless of people’s opinions, he has always supported her in times of need; he has always been her protector no matter what his intentions are. I don’t mind NDS and her getting together as a couple; HJP is family.

HJP got the better lines – short but memorable. His confession reminded me of JJC (WYWS).
The only reason he doesn\’t feel like the lead is because (I think) Dalmi won\’t choose him…

    They said if he only confessed to Dalmi earlier, they would have work but Han Jinpyeong never really had a chance.

    For me, still, he is the most memorable one in the whole story. Even his sharp tongue arc was played out beautifully in ep.14. I truly object the idea of him being named a SL; he truly is one of the leads here.

      After watching Ep13 and the 3 year time jump, I was reminded that Start-up is really all about Dalmi and Dosan. I guess HJP (and KSH) just got in the way and distracted a lot of viewers. 😉

    You know what’s worse.. since forever, KSH refers to this drama as suzy’s drama on 1n2d.. this was when initial casting was not even announced..

Just realized the actors who play younger versions of Do-san and Ji-pyeong (Start-up) have both played younger versions of Lee Jong Suk.
And the reporter in Start-up Ep9 is from YGN (Pinocchio) 😁
