Assessment of Chocolate Ep1: a bit over-the-top melo. As in, yes it’s sad, but sooo many sad things at once? and so unlikely? And some lines don’t feel organic. It’s the script. But the OST was killer, and both our leads’ acting was great.

I didn’t mind it as I was expecting tears ( I knew I should not have gotten attached to Min seong) but I will say this, I am already sick of Cha young’s brother and it is only 2 episodes. I wish she would have tossed him in the ocean, got on her bike and moved on.

He’s super annoying. Is this supposed to be the humor that lightens it up? I hope they tone him down and find him a job.

I’ve met healthcare professionals without compassion like that. It’s sad. But It’s a defence mechanism as well. (well not in the family’s case).

see i get staying objectively clear from a professional stand point…but the level of inhuman behaviour they have shown….like having wine when a child is crying for his mom…like wtf??…also the way they were saying having their son treat the actor patient,,, unless the patient is about to die then someone else can do it..like did they take the oath or not???

That’s why i called this drama over-the-top. And I like over-the-top when the drama acknowledges it (example Graceful Family, The Last Empress). But this show is supposed to be real. and that’S just way evil.

Knowing the screenwriter (I’m Sorry I Love, Uncontrollably Fond) I wasn’t even surprised 😂 Starting next week, we will spend more time on the leads since the premiere quickly laid the basis for their relationship.
