Having not seen the original I sat through the first two episodes of Family by Choice.
Things I liked:
– the adorable kids. Specially the baby FL. Gosh she is so cute.
– The dads. Especially the chef ahjussi.
– The feel. Had a nice carefree vibe.
– The pace. By the end of the second episode, the story had already moved to the next arc.
Things I didn’t like:
– 3rd floor mother. How can she blame a little 8 year old boy?!? Where was she?? She is the parent not the kid.
– Hairdresser mother. Same same.
– The atrocious neighbours. Why do they exist in these slice of life dramas?
Things I am ‘iffy’ about:
– how will they turn the storyline into a romance with these fake siblings? Ickkk….
