Viki’s getting licenses for new stuff and more C dramas, and now that Youtube has options for fansubbers most of the Chinese shows I want to watch are on there. But I’m going to have to head back to pirating for all the old Kdramas I missed. Really regretting not watching/finishing a bunch of shows while they were airing now. Signal, Circle, Tunnel, etc. Just extra sad today. 🙁
So now I’m thinking was this kocowa thing like some kind of corporate game to up the cost of licenses? #papercompany #ifiwereachaebol #wellplayedbutihateyourevilactions
Just heard on reddit that Viki will be adding a new paying tier and getting Kocowa content! I’m so relieved lol. I would pay twice as much for Viki if it meant I didn’t have to add a third site…
Oh no! I just saw the news that Dramafever isn’t getting the license for Live Up to Your Name! Where am I going to watch it that won’t give my computer a virus 🙁 🙁 🙁
What on earth is it with all these companies moving to exclusive streaming sites like Disney etc? Don’t people realize that to the average viewer the company that produces content it may as well not exist? Consumers want to see all the content together from all the producers in 1 place like in a bookstore. What if publishers had their own exclusive bookstores, wouldn’t that just be dumb? Gahhhh. It would be so sad to me if we were now leaving the golden era of kdrama availability.
It finally happened, I am not able to watch Reunited Worlds within the 24 hour limit on kocowa so I have to drop it. 🙁 maybe I’ll finally sign up for the free trial next month and finish it…
I just don’t understand this system, every other site has a pay-for-early-access-to-new episodes, watch-these-ads for old episodes model. How do they think dramas are going to build viewers if you can’t access old episodes except behind a paywall? So stupid.
OK guys. There are WAY too many streaming sites now. Also, Kocowa cuts off the last five seconds of every episode so I have to go to OnDemand Korea and watch 5 minutes of commercials to finish. wtf

So the VRV backdoor to the old Dramafever content finally shut down 🙁 And it won’t let me even watch the episodes I already downloaded. Soooo yeah.

SPEAKING of Cdramas 1. Has anyone else watched Journey of Flower 2. Did anyone else root for the bad guy? I irrationally hate Wallace Huo’s character…

Last week, they seem to have promoted it in one of their articles. But when I was trying to find more about it, I can’t find any info.
I’m hoping they would still have the show.

They won’t, they just put up a note on the page that they won’t be getting it.

I know of two Instagram accounts that post the clips of the episode.
ramyunkdrama and omokdramas
The clips are about a minute each, bit this will help in catching up with the next episode.
Yes, I also have to watch the drama via kocowa, so I do make sure I watch it within 24 hours. So far, I’m doing good at that.
