Episode 2 of The King. What is going on? So far I have a convo on Quantum Mechanics, a horse, and a gratuitous shot of LMHs biceps during a rowing competition.
I feel like this is a fair encapsulation of the entire show thus far. Weird magic/science, lots of gratuitous shots of LMH looking attractive, a horse, a thirsty female politician who wants to become a royal, Woo Do-hwan’s many on-point facial expressions, and a whole lot of insta-love.
I’m not that into the show, I’m only watching because it’s the only drama I’m watching rn. It picks up some pace from ep 4 and then from ep 7 lol. But I’m enjoying bitchesoverdrama dot com (basically the writer packmules’s this is her blog domain) take on this show. And probably that is why I am sticking through it. I read her analyses and this show seems better than it actually is. What I’m afraid of is that her analyses is so in depth that it may be probable that the show leaves those things unexplored and that’s a bummer.
