I was skeptical at first bc remakes often fail. I loved the jdrama, especially the little girl. Of course, Lee Bo-young is perfect for the mother role, but I think I already like this child actress.

    I can’t wait for this to start. I’m trying really hard to not get my expectations up too high but with this cast, director, and writer, I can’t help but be excited. This trailer just made me more excited. I’ll definitely be tuning in on Wednesday.

      Same here. I know I shouldn’t expect too much already, but the trailer has got me so excited! Hopefully, it’ll be the first remake we can be proud of. haha

    Wow! The cinematography looks great as well! Now, I’m undecided whether to watch this adaptation or the original first … Decisions, decisions … I’m torn!!!

      That’s a good question. On one hand, I know it’s probably “proper” to watch the original first. On the other, I like to go into show blind. For me, it worked out because it’s been so long since I watched the Japanese version.
      If I were in your shoes, I would probably just watch the Korean version since it’s airing this week. I am terrible. 😂😂 But I can’t squish in 2 dramas in such a short amount of time.

        Thank you, @blo! You’re right and I will also miss the Beanies Wall’s energy/interaction if leave it for after I watch the Japanese. So I made my mind 🙂

        I’m crossing my fingers for this to be as amazing as the drama remake Because This Life is Our First!!! ツ

          haha I hope it will be a good decision. Or I’ll feel guilty. 😂 Either way, I think the Japanese version is still worth the watch, even after. 😂😂
