Lost You Forever,
I haven’t finished the entire season yetβ€” still 1 more episode tomorrow!!β€” but Episode 22 is my favourite. There, I said it ♥️ This drama does really well in sharing in retrospect the process of how something came to be, and this episode was filled with moments of that seamlessly integrated with the present timeline 😍

That is really good story telling where all stands past and present weave in together seamlessly.

Yes!! Kudos to the editing teamβ€”and honestly, with how many editing mishaps we got in Season 2, I’ll take a well edited episode any day, even if it’s a single episode

With the storytelling happening across timelines it is always a challenge – what to show and what to hide to keep up the mystery. Internet sleuths as we’ve learned can deduce anything. 😂
While on a scripting level it may work but at times the set details can let the cat out of the bag. 😂 It is indeed challenging both for the writers and editors. Also the actors who may not necessarily be able to emote ALL that the character knows explicitly needs to provide nuance for repeat viewers. 😅

And that’s why they’re professionals! I wouldn’t ever be able to have my emotions so in check and click at the drop of a hatβ€”but then again, they do it because their profession requires it.
It still boggles my mind 5-6 years later every time I’m reminded that Xiao Zhan acted out happy-go-lucky scenes in the morning and then switched to sad/depressed/despair scenes in the afternoon of the same day, and then would have to revert back in the evening shoots, all for The Untamed 🫣🤯

🙈 How come autocorrect doesn’t understand this word. It “corrected” itself again.

Even autocorrect is excited that we are approaching the week’s end 😂😂😂

🤭👌 I “know” I’ve typed it correctly but in my excitement just hit send and then I see the autocorrections. Smh … but Beanies are a forgiving lot and almost never point out the mistakes unless of course it creates an almost always hilarious misunderstanding.

In one of the Community Watch Posts for Our Blooming Youth I typed out a largish comment which missed a critical *not*. I corrected it in the comment below but Minnie and Claire reading and re-reading the comment were left scratching their heads till the finally saw the correction below. 😅 Needless to say it changed the entire remark. 🤪🙃
