EVERYTHING in this show is problematic. The thug life, the triggering suicide attempt, school bullying, alcoholic mother, absent and/or emotionally abusive fathers. And the age gap thing too. Body swaps are not my favorite either— for good reason because GONG YOO was in a terrible one. But I’m hooked anyway! It’s the two leads here that sell it. Lots of character growth coming, I’m sure.

I love the body swap trope but I can’t think of one drama to defend it.
That Gong Yoo show and that Hyun Bin show left a scar.

But I still wait for the day we get a decent one. That trope has so much potential!

I’m loving this show. Watching Yoon Chan-young as the Ajhusshi Gangster is so much fun. 😍

I love how Deuk-pal was actually happy to *see* Yi-heon and wants to give him back a happy life. Not for once did he think what will happen to him.

This is the drama you were waiting for T.

Sorry, chingu. I actually have major problems with this show.
But I’m glad you’re enjoying it

If you’re talking about the dropped storyline I agree. It is a sad misrepresentation of the original source.
My reactions are on the drama as-is without reference to the webtoon which obviously is a more organic story.

But “Big” had Suzy doing a brilliant unstoppable Terminator bit. (Since I’m not much of a music fan, that was the first I ever even heard of her)

I had no idea who she was at the time either. I sometimes wonder if she would like a do-over for some of these shows she had no business being in at the time.
